Only whey and Creatine and an optional pre-workout is useful.

Diet and Training is 95%. Supplements are like 5%.

And those 2 items... those maybe work a little, like 5% improvement to your training, or maybe don't work. Probably something you don't need to spend on, but you can if you have extra cash.

Strong words there. I'm interested to know you thoughts on PA as you sound like you have tried/ done some studies on it.  smile.gif

Just being polite cause "joke" was the politest word I could think of. But their marketing copy is lol. My Bad, Edited anyway.

Since you mentioned it, some guys over at forum.bodybuilding say it does work alittle bit. Wait I need find research papers comparing groups of people who take it vs placebo.

There doesn't seem to be much independent research on this PA.

I managed to find this one:
http://breakingmuscle.com/nutrition/phosph...-lean-body-mass
QUOTE
Those who got the phosphatidic acid showed a 12.7 per cent increase in squat strength and a 2.6 per cent increase in lean body mass, while those who got the placebo showed a 9.3 per cent improvement in squat strength and a 0.1 per cent change in lean body mass.

So those who take PA had 3.4% more increase in Squat strength.
I'm not believing the extra lean body mass increase of PA group cause it is known that PA causes water retention, so likely it's just water retention.

For OP if you're interested in trying PA anyway you can get Soy lecithin, which is 4~5x cheaper than commercial PAs.

That's how the guy here do it: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.p...64295351&page=2

My Verdict
I won't spend USD 60 on something that improves my strength by 3.4%.
Maybe I'll give Soy lecithin a try for fun in the future.
