I'm intending to MNP from Umobile to Digi Prepaid. But not impressed by the errors on the website regarding procedure and cost:

https://www.digi.com.my/support/help-center...sing-activating

Prepaid FAQ #4 says clearly "MNP is now available online." But Digi CS tells me that for Prepaid it is not - must go into a store.

FAQ #6 says "How much is the Digi Prepaid Live pack? RM8 comes with RM5 credit in main balance with 5 days validity. However, there will be no charges if you are converting from a Digi postpaid line or if you port in from another Telco. In this case, there will no credit pre-loaded." Digi CS tells me that if I walk into a store I must pay RM10 for the sim card.

Free sim and delivery is only for Postpaid, but no mention of that on the Switch-to-Digi page at all.

EDIT: It was easier and much faster than I thought. I was advised by another member to go to a Digi Store (not Express) and the sim card was free. Registration was fast. Within a minute of leaving the store I got the SMS from Umobile asking if I really wanted to leave. I replied YES. My Umobile service was de-activated within 12 hours and I could commence using the Digi sim card. There was initially some problem with receiving OTP from my bank, but that seems to have sorted itself out.
