dunno.. hope this MNP wouldn't "cost" DiGi another couple millions $$
*
From what i heard, 3G license cost DiGi unfairly 650Mil for the license that originally belong to Time where they bought for only 50Mil. DAMN unfair.

My Mistake, its not 750Mil. Its 650Mil actually.....Anyway Time still made 600Mil (650-50) by doing nothing.

Yes, go to DiGi centre. You can see the list here: http://digi.com.my/switch/how_sub2.jsp or you can opt for online porting but this applies to Klang Valley only. Refer to here: http://www.digi.com.my/switch/now/index.jsp

FnF for DiGi prepaid can add in four no. from other telcos and 11 DiGi no. (New Super FnF) smile.gif If I'm not wrong. SMS rate is RM 0.01/sms and RM 0.15/minute for FnF. However, for other telcos, call rate is RM 0.15/minute but SMS rate still remains RM 0.10 and not RM 0.01.

With recent new New Prepaid I Like, it offers better value for you! Refer here for comparison table: http://www.digi.com.my/whatshot/promotions/ilike/rate.do

But his question is when his friends has ported to DiGi. Meaning that they already become DiGi customer, its just their number are formerly belong to Maxis number segment. So how do we do that? How DiGi system know whether these number is with DiGi now? And how do we know its belongs to DiGi now (without being told by our friends)?

i think the system will just recognised these numbers are under DiGi!!same case as while u call/sms/mms these numbers which ported to DiGi , in the unbilled transection will displaced (MNP) DiGi 1800.........
*
But how do we know that as a user? We need to add the number to Super FnF which is 11 DiGi number and 4 Other telco. So how do we know to add in which category since now we have MNP. Meaning the number could belong to any telco.

i have no idea on this also!!the only way is to ask your friend whether they have changed to DiGi, if not ask them to switch  tongue.gif  ....that should be the reason DiGi add on 4 FnF number which is from others networks!!well done DiGi.... long-term investment is yours!! $hort term profit is $axis
*
Sometime we can't (even if we want) ask the person what telco he/she attached to. In this case, what do we do? Anyone have any info on this? Please share.

if im not mistaken.. when u add someone regardless of the telco he/she is using, ur FnF will auto detect and add then to the available slot/list..

if lets say u've alrdy set ur 4 additional FnF numbers, and decided to add a DiGi number (but unaware it's celcom network) to ur remaining 11 digi slot numbers.. im sure it will notify u dat u cant add due to the number ure tying to add is not a DiGi number, and that ur 4 FnF slots are full..
*
If the system can automatically determine then why we have option for DiGi and non-Digi number when we want to add using *128# ???

no matter u switch to DiGi or celcom, sure is much better than Maxi$

Agree! Maxi$ is the worst in term value for money service. Between Celcom and DiGi, generally DiGi is better except for their UNIVERSITY package which CELCOM trounce DiGi big time.

if u love jungle go for celcom (wider coverage), if u love $saving$ go for DiGi ; if u love to do charity to the billionaire go to maxis@!! tongue.gif
*
Jungle? I guess you give too much credit to Celcom. Some kampung area also got weak if not no signal at all. My dad use Celcom last time. However i do agree in general they offer the widest coverage but most of us don't even leave the comfort of urban (and sub-urban) area so why need Celcom? As for Maxi$, i can see no point to go for them.
