HI guys/ gals

Have anyone encountered problem with MNP from Maxis to Digi whereby the reason of failing is that Maxis says I still owed them BUT I have settled my bill every month and my line is a principal. I reconfirm again and there is NO oustanding on my part.

I'm just curious smile.gif

Hi guys, I was planning to port out of celcom the other day. But when i check with celcom CS, they said the IC number that was registered to my phone number is one digit incorrect, which will prevent me from porting out. Can i know if Celcom can fix this or am I stuck with celcom forever.

I'm looking to change from Maxis Postpaid to Hotlink Postpaid. However, I have a principal line and a supplementary line. Maxis says I cannot change to Hotlink Postpaid directly, but have to change to Hotlink Prepaid first, then to Postpaid. They said someone will call me on Monday to reconfirm. Is this normal? I remembered changing prepaid to postpaid can be done within the same day, but why the other way around takes time?

If my line is under my dad's name, how do I change it to my name to do MNP? It would be abit troublesome to get my dad to do it for me.

I'm intending to MNP from Umobile to Digi Prepaid. But not impressed by the errors on the website regarding procedure and cost:

https://www.digi.com.my/support/help-center...sing-activating

Prepaid FAQ #4 says clearly "MNP is now available online." But Digi CS tells me that for Prepaid it is not - must go into a store.

FAQ #6 says "How much is the Digi Prepaid Live pack? RM8 comes with RM5 credit in main balance with 5 days validity. However, there will be no charges if you are converting from a Digi postpaid line or if you port in from another Telco. In this case, there will no credit pre-loaded." Digi CS tells me that if I walk into a store I must pay RM10 for the sim card.

Free sim and delivery is only for Postpaid, but no mention of that on the Switch-to-Digi page at all.

EDIT: It was easier and much faster than I thought. I was advised by another member to go to a Digi Store (not Express) and the sim card was free. Registration was fast. Within a minute of leaving the store I got the SMS from Umobile asking if I really wanted to leave. I replied YES. My Umobile service was de-activated within 12 hours and I could commence using the Digi sim card. There was initially some problem with receiving OTP from my bank, but that seems to have sorted itself out.

Hi Sifu

I have completed the MNP request online to U mobile.

Received a notification the SIM card will be posted to me.

Is the MNP request starts on the day when the request is made or when the SIM card is received?

Thank you.

This morning I have gone to Maxis to port in, but until now I haven't received any sms from my current telco (Celcom) regarding whether i want to port out or not. How long does it take for them to receive the process?
