you can keep porting as much as you want, but each time you will need to buy a new SIM card/pack as they generally will deactivate the old SIMs. plus you will get billed for the month on postpaid or are required topup credit for prepaid, and when you port the credit will be forfeited.

that's how they do it in Aus anyway. hence it's a waste of money to keep porting every other day.
*
yeah, ecsp for postpaid.. because in first bill you'll be charged for duty stamp and pro-rates charges, etc. imagine if you switched all 4 telcos within one month.. at that month you need to pay all 4 bills from different telcos..

can we ask for rm500 limit for example??
*
wah, if u expected to use rm500 maybe you should consider to subsribe Executive 250 lor.. 2000 minutes + free internet (3G/Hsdpa). by the way, if im not mistaken you cannot ask up to rm500 credit limit for exc50.. the maximum credit limit is rm300 hmm.gif . correct me if wrong..

Each telco has its own market segment, so its difficult to say which telco is loosing in the MNP.
*
i heard someone told us that, during just few weeks after MNP launched, maxis lost around 4% of their customer which is equalvalent to about half a milion subsribers..

i saw DiGi booth at lrt station, they purposely enlarged the 010 prefix, maybe DiGi is out of number that why they need 010

what do you mean by 'cant used the 8pax services'? it is failed, request rejected, or what?

QUOTE(gastacopz @ Dec 15 2008, 10:06 PM)
i oso kennot activate my active10 (hotlink) since i was previously dg customer.i called them, n they asked me to go to their center for assistance.btw, if i want to add a number to the list, i need to giv them a call and they will add it thru their system.

to activate 8pax services, simply type 8pax ON and send to 28882... to add number type 8pax ADD <no>, to delete number type 8pax DEL <no>, to view 8pax list type 8pax LIST.. send to 28882..

you can also manage your 8pax list via online customer services http://wsc.celcom.com.my

digi allow from postpaid to prepaid?
*
digi not allow their customer convert from postpaid to prepaid.. but with MNP, you're allowed to porting from postpaid to either postpaid or prepaid with your new service provider.. so just port from digi postpaid to maxis prepaid..

last week port my number from celcom postpaid to digi prepaid at klang services centre.. just take 2hours for complete switch to digi!! Nice job digi.. then yesterday go to celcom mnp from digi prepaid to celcom prepaid and postpaid.. but until now both number still not active yet.. so sad for switch to celcom postpaid it takes about 7-10 days..and switch to celcom prepaid take 24-48 hours ist true? and now i'm just wait and wait... sad.gif
*
maybe too many application to process, few of my friends still waiting their request for porting (from other operator to Celcom). furthermore, celcom is not serious in MNP implementation, other operator provide hundreds or thousand dealer to do MNP, and i heard they also hired new staff just for MNP purpose.

but celcom? at bluecube also cannot, (no need to talk about other dealer) all must go to branches sweat.gif

where is celcom branches? only few in every state sweat.gif

what can i say digi is the best services for MNP.. but sadly no Digi coverage at my area sad.gif
*
you mean indoor coverage? or your place have no digi coverage at all?
QUOTE(fat16 @ Jan 30 2009, 07:33 AM)
yeah where are u ? where is the nearest tower ? now rural kampong also can use digi. Nokia phone work great with digi.
*
but not at my hometown (somewhere in pahang) sweat.gif digi coverage actually available at all district in pahang, but sadly only available at middle of town area, if you go outside of town/city no coverage. that is why digi is not popular at my hometown area..

and right now, i wanna port to maxis coz gf ask to..so can i port to maxis from celcom line nw??...scare cant approve cause port 2times d.... rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif ...
*
of course you can.. you are allowed to do unlimited porting (as long as you still alive lol)

my advice: rather than following what your gf ask, why dont you ask your gf to switch over to other network sweat.gif haha (just like me, anyone who wish to become my gf must switch over to my network provider. i dont care who r u tongue.gif )
