Anyone switched from digi to hotlink?
I switched to hotlink and many ppl say i stupid. But IMO hotlink's plan suits me the best!
BTW, hotlink gave me a free 365 after i switched!
*
DiGi also gives. smile.gif

can i change from postpaid to prepaid ? why i go lowyat digi centre ask, they just can let me change my prepaid to postpaid? anyone got idea? pls tell me~
*
No, you can't. DiGi only allows prepaid to postpaid conversion and not the other way round. smile.gif
You can change back to prepaid with the help from MNP but it takes you some time. smile.gif

DiGi postpaid -> X Telco prepaid -> DiGi prepaid

Supposed can. Maybe they are trying to earn more profits by postpaid? Try other dealers. smile.gif

Guys, let say I just register for Maxis Postpaid can I directly MNP to other telco prepaid ?
If can, how long will it take for me to MNP back to Maxis Prepaid ?
*
If your intention is to change from Maxis postpaid to Hotlink, then you do not need to go through so much of hassle because Maxis allows direct conversion from postpaid to prepaid if your postpaid subscription is at least 6 months old.

No. They taught me to be like this.
Maxis Postpaid ----> Telco x Prepaid ----> Maxis Prepaid
So, still back to them smile.gif
*
Yeah, this method works. About how long will it take, it is very subjective, it depends on the efficiency of the dealers themselves.
For telco x prepaid, you may try DiGi. smile.gif

How often can I do MNP porting? I've just changed from maxis to digi 2 months ago, now contemplating to change from digi to celcom. Can? I heard from some people that have to wait 6 months
*
You can always do MNP, there is no minimum commitment period that you must adhere. smile.gif

Ok.. my celcom just ported to Digi and been using it for a day plus now.
However I cant seem to register my 019 nbr with the OCS thingy. It says unable to process at this time.
Any ideas if that can be done.?
*
Yeah, it is normal and it needs days to get your information updated in their database.
Not only happens to ported numbers but to any newly registered DiGi number. smile.gif

Is this still true and valid ? I just called to DIGI , they said no such thing (i.e : switch to DIGI and get 365 days validity) :-(

If it is still true, after i switch to DIGI and i top up another RM 30 airtime (RM 1.10 is not enough), will the validity still remain 1 year for the RM 30 i top up ?

thanks
*
Yes true and valid. Man, this particular DiGi person must be new huh? shakehead.gif
My mum, sister and a few friends got this once they succeed switched to DiGi. smile.gif
http://www.digi.com.my/switch/why_sub2.html (Please refer to the DiGi Prepaid column, clause no. 2)
http://biz.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?f...29&sec=business (Read the last 6 lines will do)

Yes, any amount and the validity still remains. Even if you use talktime transfer. I usually buy for my mum RM 19 for RM 25 credit. Supposed to last for 7 days but because of this 1 year validity, the validity still remains.

Oh, that is very nice..thanks for the info sharing, this really helps

I assume if i do the switch online at http://www.digi.com.my/switch/now/index.jsp instead of going to Digi Center to do the switch, i still can  enjoy this 1 year validity

thx
*
No problem. smile.gif

Yes, it still applies but to apply switching via online channel is only for Klang Valley residents.
You do not need to switch at DiGi Centre, any DiGi specialised store and centre or dealer are eligible to do switching. smile.gif
You can do that at most of the dealers. smile.gif

number portability is good it will give us chance to switch to another mobile operator without loosing or changing our current number but when it will be implemented that is the question.
*
doh.gif It is already implemented in Malaysia for all telcos since last year's September. doh.gif

Well, you gotta make complain to U-Mobile then. smile.gif

Yes, you will still receive promotions from your previous providers.

Go to Maxis dealer to MNP to HYC.
No charge for MNP. It depends on the efficiency of the dealer, some needs days, some in 1 day. smile.gif

Hi, have any maxis postpaid user here experienced switching to digi?

I wanna to know that will I get back the deposit from maxis if I switch my number directly at digi outlet... hmm.gif
*
Yes, but it takes months of time. You need to persistently enquire from Maxis.

Anyone knows how to switch from DIGI to Happy prepaid? Digi is not in the telcos list(they only have celcom, maxis and umobile) of the switching form. I read that you can switch from Happy to Digi from the phone  but I cant find any info about switching from Digi to Happy. Any help would be great.

Here's the buy/switch form for Happy Prepaid.
https://www.happy.com.my/gethappy/register.aspx#
*
This is because Happy is a sub-company of DiGi. MNP is not allowed within the same telco. smile.gif
So what you can do is port to other telco first and port back straight to Happy. smile.gif

So is there anyway to use Happy's rate on my Digi's number? I dont need a new number.
If there is a way to switch from happy to digi, there sure is a way to switch from digi to happy rite?
*
No, there is no selection can be made to be automatically switch from Happy to DiGi.
We don't call it switch from Happy to DiGi, it is just changes in plan.
No, there is no way actually. wink.gif
From Happy to DiGi = Yes
From DiGi to Happy = No
I believe my suggested way is the only possible way. smile.gif
