Nah...it depends on the engine they're using which was what halted FFXV development. If they stick with Unreal Engine 4 like KH3, I can see this game coming out 2-3 years at most.

QUOTE(jenniferjen @ Jun 16 2015, 03:42 PM) FFXV hold ups over the years was caused by the game engine they've used.I doubt they'll return to using it when KH3 is using UE4. I'm one of those who never finished FF7 (played it until the submarine section I think). This will be a fresh experience for me. This post has been edited by ray148: Jun 16 2015, 05:00 PM |

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Jun 16 2015, 06:46 PM) Well they just updated their Luminous Engine recently. Though UE4 would make it much easier to port between consoles and PC I believe. This is another Nomura game after all.I doubt he'll be happy being forced to use an engine that caused his dream project (FFXV/Versus) delayed and get him kicked out in the first place. QUOTE(SSJBen @ Jun 16 2015, 06:57 PM) Wait, where did you get news that he was kicked out? That's just pure assumption. Unless you work in squeenix? It was one of the most likely assumption based on the interview with Tabata and Nomura. |
