Can this card be used as a replacement to the Aeon member card? Say to get the free parking at the machine or to collect the Aeon points when I'm paying with other bank's cc?

Or I still need to carry the Aeon member card?

Which card you mean? Aeon new gold card ??

If yes, basically this card come with member card of benefit such as collect the point when spend on Jusco. However, this card unable insert to parking machine when pay money.

You no need carry aeon member card already if you have this new gold card

Hi sorry forgot to mention that. Yes I'm referring to the new gold card.

But since it can't be entered into the parking machine, meaning that I still need to carry the normal member card in case to enjoy the free parking right? e.g. Aeon equine park 1st 2 hours is free for member but need to insert the member card after inserting the parking ticket.

Different financial institute have different rule or procedure.
Of cos different formula to judge for qualification for an application for credit card.

You might have to high DSR (Debt Service Ratio) which exceeded the limit and cause credit card application rejected.

Hi, I just found out that cc_cad@aeonmalaysia.com.my is better than ordinary customer service email.

They called me within 1 hour after I submitted my BT application via email!

Well, FYI I was rejected by Maybank for their Ikhwan Plat card despite holding their MBB2Cards Plat as well.
Not forgetting I have other banks' cards and no issue in other applications.

I clear all my statement balance on time and still they put me in high exposure category.

How many cards do you have now? If I'm still interested in 6 months later, I might cancel some of my not useful cards for Ikhwan Plat.

Clearing thebalance every month is a factor.

There have other factors as well. Like how much credit card u have, if some how u swipe all the credit card until max, they will afraid u unable to pay

cancelling more and more because the benefits were revised thus making them very unattractive to maintain
now having 5-6

trying to swap to other cards with similar or better benefits

sigh, thought of abusing Aeon's 6 months zero BT

There are few options to apply this ikhwan credit card if u already have maybank credit card.

1. Apply this ikhwan as new application which means u need to submit all the relevant document.
2. Apply this ikhwan by taking some credit limit from other maybank credit card

Option 2 seems to be easily get approved as compare option 1.
