aye, i can agree with you on the combat part where going in and out of cover feels very fluid. though i find myself doing jetpack jump when i want to hop over the cover LOL! habit from ME2 and ME3.
i'm actually quite torn in my feelings for this series. i became a fan of ME when i started playing ME2, and i still think overall, ME2 is the best among the trilogy, to be fair, i didn't play ME1 to halfway because i just couldn't get use to the slightly different graphics and control system, and also the lack of time LOL!
while i understand that this series was handled by a relatively new team, probably some of them devs didn't even touch the trilogy before. on one hand i am disappointed and sad that such a great franchise wasn't taken seriously, and on the other hand, i sort of half half wan to give the new team chance to grow through this.
not sure if EA is just trying to milk ME fans through this way by making AAA game titles with B quality grade materials, but at the moment this is where i feel it's headed to. i hope i'm wrong in this >.<
The combat is the icing on the cake. For me, it's the universe and how it made me feel. The characters were very important in that regard. The mystery of the reapers were compelling of course, but it's the very realistic universe that BW crafted that kept me going.i'm actually quite torn in my feelings for this series. i became a fan of ME when i started playing ME2, and i still think overall, ME2 is the best among the trilogy, to be fair, i didn't play ME1 to halfway because i just couldn't get use to the slightly different graphics and control system, and also the lack of time LOL!

Hope that continues in MEA.
