played thru first mission as corvo ytd managed to achieved ghostly and didn't kill anyone achievement thou i do noticed some frame drop at certain area maybe i set the setting too high LOL

much much better! backstory is drawing based, the scene looks quite stunning but not much time to enjoy it haha..i didnt monitor how hard my GC works to output that graphic thou xD

game-save now shows whether you are currently low chaos or high chaos also you are able to play using controller, you can bind keys to ur likings now probably will set spyglass back to left-alt instead of z

Heard it's poorly optimized on pc, another bad port. I'll wait at 50%.
Everyone is saying the game is good, just bad optimization.

Nvidia Gameworks - problem reported by AMD user = biasalah
and not mentioning he's using R290 @ 1440p. also he try Very Low settings yet nothing gain on the fps.
incuming AMD hotfix driver.

well, i think either this game engine is a beast or juz as you said, a bad port.
even 1070 can't get above 60fps in 1440p

Wow, seems like this game will also tax my GPU even at 1440p.

I am quite interested with the game story and setting after Dishonored 1 but will wait for sale to buy this game.

yeah. even 1080 only can barely make it on VHQ. we still have Ultra settings.
after so long in gaming, any title with nvidia gameworks, you really need to beware. to both gpu user.

And the game doesnt really look that good imo

usually ambient occlusion is the culprit.turn down hbao+ and use lower setting will improve performance.

and as always, txaa. use other aa is ok.

im a console peasant playing using tv, no issue with 4k 30fps hehe.

triggered by no way to equip heart from pressing keys...must use middle mouse button to switch to heart....also blink is not selectable by key as well (same as heart)...y tf they dont let me to have similar control as dishonored 1...

GeForce experience optimized at most setting on low/off on gtx980m 1080p.

Disappointed in the PC master race.

Realised steam platform AAA game usually have release day problem compared to origin in term of optimization.

steam aint the problem man. its the console first game dev then PC.
and most gameworks title have performance issue.
anyhow, its good there's a refund option on steam as you said, lately AAA title is a mess.

I believe that only applies if you buy directly from steam. Unless the publisher/distributor clearly stated that you will get Dishonored 1 with the game.

playing low chaos very slowly...Felt it is way harder to acquire ghostly this time, seems like guards are more sensitive on ur movement this time around@@took 2 hours to actually go thru 1 mission ghostly...

The game code. Only 2 codes, 1 for the game, another one for the preorder DLC and Dishonored Definitive Edition. They combined those 2 under 1 key so you can't give the DDE code to your friend in case you already owned DDE. What a waste

Finished 2 runs, one with Emily and the other with Corvo. With Emily I just played for the story, with Corvo I didn't kill anybody or get detected.

Now time for a high chaos murder everybody run...

Will Dishonored 2 get cheaper next year? Can't wait to get a drive through this game after all the bugs issue are addressed.

Looks like there is no DLC in this game...
I thought the Death of Outsider is DLC until I know it doesn't need Dishonored 2 to run...
I think Bethesda or Zenimax really want to sucks our wallet dry...
