hi, im going to bangkok next month, i would like to know is it necessary to take any ground tour? do the ppl there speaks english? and i would like to know the signboards, is all the signboards only in thai or it will be in thai plus english? how hard is it for one to survive in bangkok without ground tour....as i prefer walking around myself but then im scared that there wont be any english signboards at all and it would be hard getting around

i would like to know does bangkok hotels allow more than 2 ppl in the room? as in can i squeeze 4 ppl into a normal superior(twin single beds) room?

cos im on a budget and im scared that bangkok is particular about how many ppl is in the room ....
