well, ok.. just had some time and did some selection on the photos and stuffs.


my itineraries as below,

3rd Oct,
-reached KLIA from Penang airport at 1pm

-reached BKK at 7pm ( BKK local time ) took a taxi ( insisted on meter ) to Khao San Road and paid the taxi 300B

-Checked in our guest house ( nice place if u don't mind that it's a lil small ) www.shambarabangkok.com
-Headed out to "Tum Yum Kung" ( along khaosan road) for dinner ( tom yum there is superb)

-did some light browsing in Khao San Road (checking all the prices)

4th Oct,
-headed to Chatuchak Market. get a taxi from khaosan to siam BTS (skytrain) station for 70B, then from siam head towards Mochit station.
-from mochit, walk towards the market.

-Head back to guest house around 1pm as it rained and it got really humid in the market. took a shower, and get a taxi and head out to siam bts station again.
-checked Reno Hotel and do a 2 nights booking for 5th and 6th Oct as my plan was to stay at Khao San for 2 nights and in town for 2 nights.
-after that made a trip to Jim Thompson's house museum which is a lorong away

-head back to Khao San road for dinner and shopping spree starts.

5th Oct,
- checked out Shambara, walked towards Grand Palace and visited the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew ( jade buddha )

-after grand palace, head towards Wat Pho.

- after visiting the reclining buddha, i strongly recommend you to pay 360B for a 1 hour full body massage at Wat Pho ! ( super worth it )
- Checked in Reno Hotel at ard 3pm.
- Started walking around shopping malls.
- had R burger for dinner ( sort of healthy burger from Japan, like pau + burger patty, and soy nuggets)

6th Oct,
-Took BTS to a ________ station ( couldn't recall the name at the moment)
-walked towards Erawan Shrine ( four face buddha )

-took a walk back and stopped at Central World Plaza.

- continue journey until back to Reno Hotel.
- Head out in the evening to Suan Lum Night Bazaar.

- took MRT from Lumphini to Silom ( 1 station away ) when heading back..

7th Oct,
Last round of shopping before shooting back to KLIA at 2pm.
- visited Siam Paragon

- Arranged a taxi from reno hotel to Sue-wanna-Poom airport at 500B
- reached airport at ard 2:30 pm flight leaves at 5pm

- had one of the best ice chocolate drink i ever tasted in BKK airport !

-reached Penang at ard 12 midnight.

it's easier to get in thai than in malaysia ( just like if you're trying to get a map for malaysia in london... hahah )
most book stall should have it, or at least heard about it. u can try looking for it in the airport too. I found mine in khao san road.

locals call it, "nancy map" hahah

jade buddha is in the grounds of the grand palace, west of bangkok. ard 2km away from khao san road.

well, u can find dozens in chatuchak, some in khaosan road, more in Siam Square, some in MBK, some in Suan Lum Night Bazaar.
