QUOTE(al_ong20 @ Jun 1 2008, 11:12 AM) Hi All, I am going to Bangkok on 17/7/08 to 22/7/08. As per below is my itenary. Can anyone help me to see will this iternary is ok for me... 17/7/08 - Arrive at noon - MBK - Suan Lum Market 18/7/08 - Grand Palace - Wat Pho - China Town 19/7/08 - Chatuchak Market - Siam Paragon 20/7/08 - Floating Market - Central World 21/7/08 - Pratunam Market - Chao Phraya River , Khao San Road 22/7/08 - Platinum Mall - Flight at 8.20pm Thanks Seriously I wouldn't recommend Floating Market. One reason being the floating market isn't as grand or big as it used to be. Also, there's not much things to buy. My personal opinion. If my memory doesn't fail me, China Town is at the other end of Grand Palace and Wat Pho. Thus it's best that your "Chao Phraya River" trip is on the same day with your Grand Palace and Wat Pho day because it's in the same area.

QUOTE(harmony @ Sep 4 2008, 05:29 PM) Hi everyone... first, wanna say great and informative thread here! I went through most of the posts, but can't seem to find some info I need -- what kind of hidden surcharges can I expect for flights to Bangkok? I'm planning a trip next year in March/April. I believe Air Asia is having their super-cheap tickets promos that start from 1 April, but it doesn't include taxes and fares. How much would these come up to? And what about fuel charges? Hope someone can help. Just click and follow the procedures until the payment part where you don't pay. that way you would know how much is the total amount payable.

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Nov 27 2008, 01:51 PM) check this, http://www.airasia.com/site/my/en/page.jsp...=airportclosureapparently, AA is not going to refund us, but they give us a 3-days credit shell, which means, if 1st Dec if your departure day, and BKK airport is still closed, you're given a 3-days credit shell, by 4th Dec, you may fly to BKK (provided the airport is reopen). *you can't change your destination, WTH... My bro and friends just changed their afternoon flight to Vietnam instead; am not sure whether it's free or they have to top up. Because I just received a SMS saying that they would still be flying but to Vietnam.
