im goin to bkk dis fri 27 until 30 june. i have read all d pages of this thread. juz a question for some sifus here. is it better to speak some basic thai there? especially when u wan to get great discount?

here is my itinerary for 27-30 jun. im staying at residence hotel at petchaburi road. pls help to see if its ok o not.

27 jun
-reach afternoon, then proceed to pratunam and platinum

28 jun
-early morning to floating mart. noon go to grand palace and the nearby temple by river taxi. hope got time to go chinatown by river taxi too. plan to juz spend 1 hour each at grand palace n the temple, the rest for chinatown. looks like not enough time leh.

29 jun
-chatuchak half day
-nite suan lum mart (any thing in between?)

30 jun
-shopping complexes nearby.
