The official Real Player IMO is pathetic considering it wanted Microsoft to stop loading WMP with windows ..... Too much adware, lame and resource hungry while want to hog the PC to make it the default player for all media files. IMO WMP or/and MPC + Real Alternative is the best choise to play RM files without ever having to see the adware popup.
