Validity Extension for Celcom (EXP1 and EXP2) are only available to old plans like XPAX24, and you can't buy these from shops anymore. If you go to Celcom or their authorized dealers to buy a prepaid SIM pack today, you can only get Magic SIM which does not allow EXP1/2.

I once asked Celcom about transferring an XPAX24 plan to a friend, and was told that the new owner can retain it as XPAX24 plan. So maybe you can check out there if anyone wants to transfer their XPAX24 plan to you.

Anyone tried this ? I tried but it always stated 'Message had been send'... and then seems like nothing happened already. Hmm... no deductions of my credit also... does it still works ?

I'm buying 2 years validity though... hmm.gif

Subscription through USSD *118# does not work. Use EXP1 or EXP2 and send to 28882 to subscribe extended validity. This method have been verified to work. nod.gif

Ya, try this method, although the last time I tried also took a long time for the whole process to go through. It can be a real pain.

I simply keeping this for my mom...reload RM30 seems taking forever to finish for her. Plus I set 15 numbers that use only 12 sen per minute, in which she usually talk for 12 seconds, 30 seconds, bottomline less than a minute...so worth it for me together with the 2 years validity

Now even better, can reload from 11street,,whatever reload amount is minus 5%...so if reload RM10, we pay RM9.50, reload RM30, pay only RM28.50

Right, this time round the completion was much faster. smile.gif

I was concerned about the delay I experienced few months back while doing it for my friends, because my own line is one of those that's got chargeable rubbish messages being sent in. Worried that once I top up RM50, those rubbi$h me$$age$ would start coming in then I wouldn't have enough for the EXP2. blush.gif

Even the Celcom CSO advised me not to keep too much in this account. whistling.gif

All SOX/UOX will be migrated to MagicSIM upon reaching age limit. Extended validity is not available for MagicSIM. There is no other xpax plan other than MagicSIM right now.

If you really require long validity with your current number, you need to mnp to other telco with long validity. Currently the list below is your options:

1. Altel Real prepaid - 365days @ rm28
2. Digi New Best v2 - 365days @ rm68
3. Maxis hotlink Fast - 365days @ rm33
4. Tron - 365days @ RM10++ topup
5. Tunetalk prepaid - 365 days @ rm28
6. OneXOX prepaid - mnp to get a onetime 28months validity
7. XOX prepaid - mnp to get a onetime 28months validity -and- 365days @ rm25

Best of luck.

Celcom now has the reload to stay active, 1, 7 or 30 days.

Instead of the 1 or 2 year extend validity.

Anyway, if that is the case many will just get the prepaid card on arrival instead of paying to extend the validity.

Keep your line active by subscribing to validity extensions of your choice at RM1 a day and continue to enjoy FREE basic Internet.
