Its very hard to find tyres for 195/50/16, most fiesta users with stock 195/50/16 change to 205/45/16

What's the width of your rim? 6.5JJ? or 7JJ?

Honda City 2014, sadly my 6JJ R16 rim cannot fit 205, at least it's not suitable to fit 205 to get the full potential of the tyre, because 6JJ are too small for it.

On the other hand, I did not think of changing the rim because it was original rim from honda that made by Enkei.

So I think I can only look for 195/55 or 50/r16, that's the largest size I can get to fit the rim.

6jj can fit 205 tyres. Me using swift sport ori 6jj rim with 205/45/r16 rubber

But it won't be too 'wide' for 6JJ rim or damage the sidewall indirectly?

nope. If it is within the spec, it is fine. However I am looking for 195/50/r16 or 205/50/r16 for a lil more comfort.

Running on used but almost brand new CRZ rims, wrapped in 195/55R16 Dunlop LM704 donuts new when fitted to these alloys.

If my memory serves me right, the tire shop at Rj Uda also had Turanza ER33 or ER30 of the same size back in March this year. But in general, 205/60R16 would be much easier to hunt.

If want to change size, 205/50R16 would be nearer to original size, 205/55R16 different too much.

Made a typo in my earlier post.

Right but I fitted them onto a people carrier,so going down to thinner rubber would mean sacrificing comfort

No, your speedometer will not be accurate. General guidelines for tires upsize or downsizing is to stay within 3% of the OEM diameter. You can use 205/50R16 tires. My car tire size is the same as yours

You can also go to 1010tires.com to check tire sizes that is suitable for your car.
