Sure MyRepublic cannot get in Malaysia, simply because all Malaysian prefer/love slow speed internet.
This is also why Malaysia ISP giant has been so successful in fulfilling people needs by providing/maintaining slow speed network. Slow is the new black (In bolehland)

QUOTE This means that P2P file-sharing applications are allowed to run as fast as possible as long as they do not disrupt higher priority applications such as video streaming or gaming. As the system adapts to the demands on our network, there is no need for us to impose a fixed limit on BitTorrent download speed. Does this mean no net neutrality? Correct me if I'm wrong

They will come and they will use the same TM infra like maxis is using ... this is the same as they did in SG using a common infra provider in SG As for Mr.Lai ... remember that P1 almost go bankrupt??? as said earlier .. see lah how when they come later

Looking at how maxis, tm and time offering aggresive promotion recently, it seems like MyRepublic coming to malaysia might be true.

QUOTE(mrlive005 @ Nov 1 2015, 04:07 AM) I found this while searching http:/ /says .com/my/tech/myrepublic-malaysia from the post QUOTE Specifically, Rodrigues is waiting for the government to require that Telekom Malaysia open up its networks to other operators via full LLU, a process that could take place between now and 2018, he said. i was really hoping that they can enter faster, i guess we are just going to stay with TM until then

Did MCMC set any deadline for TM to do the local loop unbundling (LLU)? If they are going to do it by 2016, then im not upgrading my unifi package to the advance 30 package. I dont want to be tied to another 2 years.

Yes, 1Gbps already available in SG but not to all mainstream users yet. Same thing in S.Korea, 10Gbps also available in certain areas but will roll out to all major places by 2017. While we here can't even get 100mbps as a standard...

Ping in games is unfortunately not something that any ISP can directly fix for every game (that means don't ever expect under 10ms for most online games, ever), not in this region. It's to do with gaming itself rather. Can go into a whole different topic on that which will derail this thread.
