QUOTE(RegentCid @ Jun 19 2015, 06:00 PM) Singapore Changi and Seoul Incheon also same. Seoul Incheon so far are the most best. 24 hour Airport Shopping Mall...... lol ya meh. the last time i went 9.30pm all shops closed already. those 24 hour shops are just a small and tiny portion. at 9.15pm people already queuing up to run home. maybe times have changed.

QUOTE(ivzh @ Jun 24 2015, 08:53 PM) I will be with my 2 year old, still not sure whether to bring along with my stroller =/ or just bring her with the baby carrier.. Luckily she is still 9kg right now.. i think by nov she may be 10kg+ baby carrier would be more convenient. lots of staircases to climb in japan. unless you dont mind waiting for lifts which are scarce and slow.

QUOTE(Docile @ Jul 3 2015, 02:55 AM) Hi all, i am planning for a 10 days trip to Japan (First timer) Knowing that most of you have been to Japan before, i would appreciate it if you could give me some opinion on my itinerary. I plan to land in Osaka and fly out from Tokyo, do you think it's a good idea? My trip will basically be like this: Osaka -> Kyoto -> Tokyo. In between i might add in Nara or Nayoga perhaps. But what i'm trying to ask is, if the whole idea of landing in Osaka and fly out from Tokyo is a wise one? Or do you think i should land and fly out from the same airport? Please advise. And i would appreciate it if you could suggest some of the itinerary that would be practical for my trip. Thanks in advance! Not a really good idea. I did almost similar too you just that I flew to Tokyo and flew out of Osaka while attending a conference in between. My schedule was squeezed to the brim and i didn't really spend much time for each area. I can start my journey at like 5am and sleep at 1am.. but it was fun though. Still young can be hardcore a bit. I wanted to go Nara as well but had to cancel it one day before for reference: http://zhishantan.blogspot.com/2013/11/jap...13-summary.html

QUOTE(Kanan Jarrus @ Jul 5 2015, 10:06 PM) wow, thanks for sharing your blog and your photos from Japan, especially those from Shibuya Crossing is very heavenly i thought of dreaming to go perhaps travelling or studying and if God willing, to live at there... my father, uncle, aunty and most of my best friends been there before you are welcome if it's just tokyo alone it's not that expensive one.. i think within RM2000-2500 can do liao if you get cheap tickets and don't eat that RM1000 fine dining meal QUOTE(kcirdenk @ Jul 5 2015, 11:38 PM) Hi guys, I'm planning to travel to Japan but I will be travelling to Beijing for a few days then only to Japan. But Airasia doesn't have any flight from Beijing to Japan & MAS doesn't seem to have any flight date available. Anyone here can advise from where I should book my ticket. Kindly advise (First timer here). tried skyscanner already?

Some fruits are cheap in japan though. Now it's summer and I highly recommend that you guys try their peaches. It's one of the best i've ever tried. Extremely juicy and sweet and fresh. The skin can even be peeled off without using a knife. I got mine at ameyoko market. DSC05485 by zstan, on Flickr another recommendation would be champagne grapes which usually cost a bomb in malaysia but i got a small bunch for just 300 yen. DSC06496 by zstan, on Flickr but i guess there are not many fruit lovers like me out there. People usually go other countries to try out food and desserts but rarely their local fruit.

QUOTE(deodorant @ Aug 2 2015, 06:00 PM) +9000 My first Tokyo trip was in summer and me and my (that time was gf) wife ate SO MANY peaches. Come back to KL/SG damn disappoint. Isetan / Meidi-ya / Taka here will also import some peaches from Japan every summer but we try few times liao always not sweet, too mushy, not juicy one yeah man. peach has to be eaten fresh. i tried to smuggle back one box of peaches from Taiwan last time. reach home that time the texture also changed d bonus: if cannot find peach, must try their peach ice cream as well! damn gooding and got real peach inside. but this is not cheap la DSC07860 by zstan, on Flickr Peach Ice Cream by zstan, on Flickr

Planned to sapu a lot ... but going March to Sapporo... wonder what fruits can I get beside strawberries... it's illegal to bring fruits.. but i've managed to smuggle one whole box of peach and two packs of grapes through taiwan immigration (on separate occasions) but didn't get caught upon arrival in Malaysia.
