Hi guys, i m going to spend 9 days in tokyo next week. Besides tokyo and hakone, any interesting place nearby tokyo i should visit. Not planning to go too far from tokyo. Other places save for next 2 trips. Saitama?

Hi Cid, I am going to Hakone and stay for a day there. Would it be wise to visit Enoshima and Karakuma on my way back to tokyo from hakone since all these places are located south of Tokyo. For Saitama is it worth to stay a day there or just make one day trip?

First day in tokyo. The metro is not as complicated as thought. Having puffer fish set today at asakusa. Nice but cost 8300 yen...

I am just back from tokyo. The nikko all pass is 4000 over yen. I only manage to see the water fall ( need to pay extra 500 yen per person). The view up the mountain is quite nice. I miss the heritage temples at nikko town as when we came down is already pass 4.30pm. For me depend what you want to see.

To me hakone is still worth going. Try to stay near sengokuhara area. You get good onsen hotel. The pirate ship is great. Try go to the little prince Museum, it is nice. The rest is nothing. The outlet is Nothing much but it is good to go down to gotemba to get closer view of fujiyama.

Japan is expensive but it is worth going as everything is so clean and safe.
