Just go. I must say, I travel to many places, and Japan is the best. I'm at Tokyo-Kyoto-Wakayama-Osaka for 2 weeks. I did not see much on Tokyo (bit rush) but I enjoyed 7 days at Kyoto and a night at Wakayama Onsen. I still want to travel to Japan again if given the chance, and probably extend the length of stay.
