I didn't specifically mention needing it when making the car booking (planned to use google maps on phone) but they gave me a car with English GPS.

Ended up use the Car GPS so much more convenient. Input location that time use map code (similar to post code) or phone number, no need to know Japanese at all.

Anyway if you want to see full itinerary I don't want to clog up this tered so opened in /k/ instead --> link.
