Not a really good idea. I did almost similar too you just that I flew to Tokyo and flew out of Osaka while attending a conference in between. My schedule was squeezed to the brim and i didn't really spend much time for each area. I can start my journey at like 5am and sleep at 1am.. but it was fun though. Still young can be hardcore a bit. I wanted to go Nara as well but had to cancel it one day before

August Tips of the Months:
Nothing special. Just a small cafe located at Hakone. Most people from Hakone Yumoto Station taking train to Gora Station are all way up. This tips of the month will make you get down from train during the way up to Gora Station.

Another spot for you killing time during visit Hakone.

1st at Hakone Yumoto Station (箱根湯本) taking Hakone Tozan Line to Miyanoshita Station (宮ノ下) Or Another Way round. Picture I show was From Gora Station heading down to Hakone Yumoto Station.

This also the Cafe most killing part!! Onsen spot for relaxing your leg while you enjoying your coffee or tea .


Enjoying Naraya cafe signature dish called Healty buckwheat in soup (550 Yen) + Milk (370 yen) while your leg was soap inside hot Onsen.

Perfect killing time during Winter time at Hakone

Same here!! I think during winter might feel like this.

Tho I've only been to Sagano during Spring~ Sakura time.

I was Study U at Japan 6 years. This 6 Years I already travel to whole Japan during school break.
Plus I work in Japan Company. I fly to Japan almost 14 - 16 times per year.

Plus I was volunteer disaster relief team since 2011 Tohoku earthquake. If got Major Earthquake..... I will be there sending aid.

Yes. That is a girl, riding a dinosaur, doing battle with another girl riding a metal robot dinosaur with multi barrel chain gun. HELL YEAH JAPAN!

Depends on your definition of 'necessary.' A pocket wifi is most certainly not mandatory; you can get by with just spotty wifi hotspots and asking for directions from random strangers. But for me I always rent so I can whip up a quick google search or directions whenever things don't go exactly as planned.

Anyway reporting in from Sapporo/Otaru. Today the weather farked up our plans entirely. Rained the whole day + winds were the Destroyer of Umbrellas kind. Saw aunties and salarymen getting soaked after the winds turned their umbrellas inside out lol.
