Just wondering...

Booked a flight to Sapporo next year March for a short trip...

My bad without looking properly at the arrival date and left 3 days exactly from my departure date. Also my partner cannot take so many off days... Anyway, just around RM530 for return flight for 2 person for AAX.

So, let's see what can we do for the best out of these three days... Need some of your suggestion...

Day 1: Midnight flight to Sapporo

Day 2:
Arrived bout 8:30AM local time
- Plan to do half day skiing at nearby location, any suggestion?
- Any onsen nearby worth a visit?
- at night, if time permit, planning to do King Crab buffet at Nanda.

Day 3:
Otaru - One day trip

Day 4:
Any suggestion?

Day 5:

Morning 8:45am flight home ... arrive KL 5PM? doh.gif

Wondering if RM1500 is enough for these short trip for 1 person? Exclude accommodation with breakfast buffet and flights.

I had just booked and paid Tokyo Dome Hotel Sapporo at a very wowed price for all my nights... ^^

Yes, There are one Ski located nearby Sapporo City. It was called Sapporo Kokusai.
One hour Bus ride from JR Sapporo Station.

Sapporo City does't have any Onsen worth to visit.

Woww.. that's cost efficient for 21day/pax thumbup.gif .
mine 12 days tokyo only estimated to be in the range of Y420,000-2pax (excl airfare/accomodation but include rail/passes for travel within the city shakehead.gif )
*
Eh if only Tokyo
i don't think you need a rail pass
using suica would be better unless you really get around the city more than 5 times per day.

merci

Wow! You managed to book the Tokyo Dome. How much per night?
The location is good since it's just opposite the odori park.

My upcoming will not be cheap sad.gif Just the air tickets cost me RM4.5K as I will be taking SIA this time and right on 2016 New year Eve. The same hotel that I booked at Nihonbashi is selling at RM350/night instead of RM150 during my 1st trip cry.gif Furthermore.. I will be buying JR Rail pass traveling to Hiroshima /Osaka & Kyoto b2fore back to Tokyo.. Atleast RM12K for 3 based on my rough estimate rclxub.gif

I will be in tokyo for 10 days. I will be using metro 3 day ticket, but the ticket is only valid for 3 days. After 3 days, can I purchase another metro 3 day ticket to be used for next 3 days ?

17-20Nov
Tokyo
20-21/Nov
Hakone
21-22/Nov
Nagoya
22-24/Nov
Kyoto
24-27/Nov
Osaka
Plan to be relax and easy, not too rush since this is my first lifetime with backpack and together with my 2 children. Currently still in planning of my journey.
Any sifu advice below:-
1) Do I need to buy JR/Osaka Amazing/Kyoto Day/Tokyo Day Pass for example?
2) Roughly how much to allocate on transportation on my journey?
Hope can get some answers to help on my planning. Thanks.

For this 2 question, you can try to see the ticket fare using hyperdia.com and compare which is more worthwhile. Usually a mix of passes will be useful.

if you can plan your trip to cover the cost of the pass, then it is worthwhile. when i plan my trip, i always try to rely on just metro lines first to see if can save or not, but never able to do so. i find that a mixture of jr lines and metro works best, hence pasmo/suica smile.gif

Use the logical thinking

if you can afford to visit a lot of places without going back to your hotel/accommodation around tokyo.

Taking the pass will be wise,

But if you are out to shopping around Tokyo shops, i doubt you will make enough stop to make the pass worth awhile.

I managed to booked the High floor facing Odori Park - Odori View... I can't says its very cheap but for that particular room I booked. I m guess that price is okay and reasonably cheap. Plus it comes with seafood buffet breakfast...
Yesterday Expedia got Hotel 75% offers (not sure whether mine was 75% or around XX% but got offer la) + my UOB got additional 10% offers... so i think its quite cheap thumbup.gif ^^
