QUOTE(RegentCid @ Aug 7 2015, 05:59 PM) No need go so far. Okinawa are for medium wealth Japanese to enjoy Summer vacation. Most Japanese those work in Tokyo , Yokohama , Kawasaki will gather at Enoshima. You reserved 2 posts few pages back but nothing yet? Just 1 hour away from Tokyo. Please refer to page1. I already share this bikini info long time ago. Also wanna ask, did you ask for permission to take photo when you dined at Joel Robuchon (Ebisu) or no need? |

Luckily I still have 80k yen from my previous trip. Accommodation already paid in advance so not going to be hit much. But hopefully the rate becomes better by the end of this year.

QUOTE(RegentCid @ Aug 20 2015, 07:48 PM) Cash better than credit card in Japan. In Europe they prefer CC. Places like shinkansen ticket office, disneyland and 3 star above hotels do accept CC. The exchange rate imposed by our local money changer is higher than the imposed by CC. At the same time, some CC will give rebate and/or reward points. In Eruope even you buy a 1 euro stuff at Convenient Store also can used CC |

QUOTE(yippi @ Sep 2 2015, 11:56 PM) Any sifu advice below:- For this 2 question, you can try to see the ticket fare using hyperdia.com and compare which is more worthwhile. Usually a mix of passes will be useful.1) Do I need to buy JR/Osaka Amazing/Kyoto Day/Tokyo Day Pass for example? 2) Roughly how much to allocate on transportation on my journey? Hope can get some answers to help on my planning. Thanks. |
