the time i take the car almost at the rental shop for 2 hours for all the procedure + coaching on how to use the toll card and gpd in japanese
plus they give u a thick book which have all the road number , something like a code same with singapore
when i return i no need to pump full tank , they have built in petrol station inside their rental shop , quite pro
they wont bother small scratches or what , just simple scanning of the car and you are good to go
when i return my car around 30 minutes done , i return at 730am and manage to catch flight of 1030am
of course , if accident happened ,or car got problem ....then good luck to you LOL

Holy crap.. driving in that kind of snow is like playing russian roulette on ice skates... reminded me on the time driving in snow on the swiss road.... hit a patch of black ice and you better pray your car can regain traction before the guardrail comes up..you must be extremely careful and patient driving during winter in hokkaido
