Hi RegentCid, I have gone through the lawson ghibli site and registered but there's no option to purchase/ reserve the tickets. I was asked to get the potta point, is this how I could reserve?

Online reservation through Internet are Fully Japanese wording. If you dunno how to read japanese will be almost impossible for you to reserve ticket in advance.

When you at Japan. You still can get Ghili Museum Ticket from any Lawson Convenient store.
There will be a machine call Loppi. Just follow the step to buy your ticket.
http://www.lawson.co.jp/ghibli/museum/ticket/english.html

Just make sure you buy the ticket one day advance on ur planning going visit Ghibi Museum.

After not touching my itinerary for few months, looked back at it today and made some changes. Decided to leave out higashiyama district and kiyomizudera temple as have visited them before. Adding Nanzen-ji, Chion-in and Eikando tentatively since they are along philosopher's path. Might drop one of them as cannot stand too many entrance fees sweat.gif and also one of them is under renovation.

At first wanna replace with Kifune Jinja but too north-wards and it is probably similar to Kasuga Taisha in Nara anyway tongue.gif

I sortof went through using google translate and got stuck. Haha.

I actually had been to Japan once and last time when I tried booking through the Loppi machine, it was fully booked for the month. Hence, I was trying my luck on getting someone to help me book first cause the booking for October starts yesterday (10th). Thanks for the help though!

Recently found a ultimate spicy shop around Kyoto.
I not yet try but will be soon......If got any chances fly to Kansai.

From Kyoto Station taking JR Kyoto Line heading Osaka Direction to Mukomachi Station (向日町駅). 5 minute walk to this Shop called 珉珉 向日町店

Or

From Kawaramachi Station (河原町駅) taking Hankyu Kyoto Main Line to Higashimuko Station (東向日駅)

Here the Maps:
