Option 1
- Take tram direct to B, duration 24 mins, frequency every 5 mins

Option 2
- Take train to A, duration 5 mins, frequency every 5 mins
- Take tram to B, duration 7 mins, frequency every 5 mins

If the destination is B and cost is not a factor, which one would you choose?

How easy is it to change from shinkansen to normal JR train in Hiroshima Station? Unable to find the station layout.

Cancel your reservation and re-book into one of these hotels. Surely their concierge will help you buy.

or if you are holding any credit card with concierge service, you may try to make a request too.

Can we eat inside Haruka or only on Shinkansen?

According to here:
https://www.westjr.co.jp/global/en/travel-i...service_01.html

Kyoto, Shin-Osaka, Osaka, and Okayama stations have temporary luggage storage facilities.

Anyone happen to know where is the location of the luggage room at Okayama Station?

I am sorry if I missed any tips you already provided. Any ideas how to spend my solo trip since I will stay in Ota, Tokyo for three nights. Places nearby Ota do not look awesome but for few days I dont plan on going too far (unless the route is easy). I have my japan map on my phone, and offline gps. I will also rent pocket wifi, because I think no tourists have been without it. biggrin.gif

well not me biggrin.gif

I'm planning to travel in Japan for about 9 days.
But I'm still hesitating to travel on which month, whether september, october or november is the best time to travel in Japan?

I will be boarding at Osaka staying there for 2 days then I'll be taking bus to Tokyo then Kyoto..

It would be helpful for those who actually have a perfect itenary for 9days travel in Japan. I'll be taking my flight back in Osaka.

mid to end of november for the autumn season smile.gif

Based on my experience on last week..21st November ..most of Gingko leave start falling on that time, its recommended to come Early November..for Osaka ,Kyoto and Nagoya..

Went to Gifu ,no more autumn season...for this area recommended to come on Early October and Mid of October.

I was in kyoto almost nearing the end of Nov last year and the autumn leaves were still brilliant hmm.gif the colours at kansai area are still vibrant today, from Japan Guide report.

Then you can consider Malaysia most famous Apple Tour.
They bring you circle whole Hokkaido island. North East south west center

the advantage for self tour,
u can save alot of $$$, especially traveling in group
and
u can hv all the time u need on one particular place which i really enjoy

eg:
selftour... u can hike Mount Kurodake all the way to the peak
compared to tours guide, they limit u to second ropeway @Kurodake Ropeway sweat.gif  sweat.gif

ps: copy and paste the tour agency itinerary, win2... half effort completed
*
lol i know the advantage of free and easy...been doing that for most of my travels.. .and i actually hate following tour alot sweat.gif for now just considering my options, as planning for a detailed itinerary can be very exhausting..somemore i heard Hokkaido train lines are not so extensive (maybe have not do any homework yet).

yeah, I thought about that too, but I'm actually staying a bit more than 2 weeks. If just visit JR East, not too much meh?  hmm.gif
I'm also eager to visit Kyoto and Osaka.

maybe I should fly to Osaka instead. Maybe it's cheaper to fly?
*
Apart from Kansai and Tokyo, where else? Maybe cheaper to fly to Osaka and take 1 way shinkansen ticket to Tokyo.
