Hurmmmmm,

after thinking awhile

i am planning to stay and visit Tokyo's Disneysea at 24th of December

Most probably staying either on the official resort/hotel or the partner hotel for the extra stuff(admission special thingy)

researched about it for awhile, found the rates is acceptable but not sure it is a wise idea to go on x'mas eve

Anyone had this experience going on this date so far that can share?

Sim Card you have to Pre-Order from website then collect at Hotel // Japan Post Office when you reach Japan.
When you leave Japan, you have to return it back. Cannot bring those Sim card back to Malaysia.

Refer Here
https://t.iijmio.jp/en/index.html

It only can used for Online purpose ( Google Map ))

Average RM400/day should be enough, provided that you don't simply try on any finger food on the street. Just bear in mind that their dinner is much more pricier than lunch. We went there 2 yrs back (2 adult + 6yr-old kid) similar to you. Don't think that you will like to hunt for bento (packet food) at the supermarket every late evening waiting for discounts. What we did last time was we make sure we have good breakfast (hotel breakfast) to reduce your crave to hunt for food, and big lunch. Their lunch set prices are quite compatible with KL Japanese restaurant (but with better quality and portion). Having 2 sets basically make 3 stomach happy enough. Dinner can settle with convenient shops.

Thanks for the tips! I have 5 nights booked through Airbnb's private apartment, so no breakfast. Will try to source for foods from their wet market, convenient shops or budget food chain.

We are food lovers, don't think we can resist fingers food on the streets and I am quite flexible on the food budget though. ☺

if you want

Use a flexiroam sim card, They have counters in KLIA 1 and KLIA 2

RM 50 a day, Unlimited data and calls throughout japan and malaysia

Malaysian can reach your number via your local number as your phone is forwarding all calls to your japanese number

http://www.flexiroam.com/buzz/japan/how.html

another budget option will be using their flexiroam service where they will forward your incoming malaysian calls to a number, then you rent a japanese phone and call the preset number and they will patch your incoming malaysian calls to your japanese phone

Downside is that no data la sweat.gif but its cheap at RM 10 a day
