I'm thinking to pay my TNB and Unifi bill through Maybank2U, but using PBB Visa Signature.

Thanks.

Not possible, you couldn't pay TNB (it will not appear as bill that you can choose to pay after selected PBB VS in M2U bill payment) and Unifi (not sure but believe you can't as well, refer following list). I have PBB VS registered in M2U.

Do refer following list published by MBB for bills that you can pay with other credit card in M2U. List from MBB here.

These could be classified as Utility, which are excluded?
*
Both Maxis and TM are not categorized under utility. Payments to Maxis and TM entitled to cashback from last few rounds of promotion.

Please refer here for bills categorized under utility (TNB, IWK etc).

They are under telecommunication biggrin.gif

Do they able to screen Im paying to different account? Or they just look at the Payee name.

I will try anyway, on wk3 better coz its after my statement day, even i dont get this, i still get 6%. update u all later. smile.gif
*
Shouldn't be a problem with following methods (tested in minimum of 3x RM100 cashback promotion):
i. same account - split payment but pay with different websites. Maxis -> MaxisPay and Payonline, TM -> TM online and Payonline
ii. different account - not a problem at all.

Attached some screenshot from statement:
Attached Image
i. first two TM payments were to different account.
ii. Paid to same Maxis account from MaxisPay and Payonline on June 22nd.

Good luck. I'm going to compete with you for cashback for the same reason with you. biggrin.gif

Is TNB bill payment through UOB payonline considered utility?
*
Yes, it is under utility but you will be getting PBB VS 6% cashback ONLY.
Payment to TNB through payonline is not eligible for additional cashback (ongoing 3x/5x/8x RM80) promotion.

to play safe better clarify with cs

There's still risk of incorrect information.

For less than 8 swipes:
i. consolidate usages to principal card and shooting for higher return (8 swipes) biggrin.gif
ii. register both cards and split usages across two cards yields lower return

Must get confirmation from CS for more than 8 swipes.

Supplementary card entitles to separate RM50 cash rebate. PBB was so kind giving cash rebate even for spending > RM833 in last 30 days (changed statement date and current statement is only 20 days). smile.gif

Oh u mean u actually received rm50 for that 20days?
Cs told me that if I change statement date my rm50 for that month will be forfeited, and cash rebate will be recalculated based on new statement date
So to not let my rm50 go into waste I ended up canceling the statement date change, aiyor  sweat.gif

Yes, full cash rebate for 20days, and previous statement too.

Bravo, notworthy.gif  u dare to do (bohkiasi) what others won't and u are rewarded. So looks like PBB systems can't detect this is utility bill cos it goes thru a payment gateway n MCC code is not utility. rclxms.gif don't think transactions type are checked by human.

Payment to Majlis Bandaraya through UOB payonline definitely not entitled to additional cash back promotion, which I tried and thought it should be fine. May be paynent to TNB through UOB payonline is just fine.

Hi,

from the first few posts on 1st page,
"Please be informed that you will enjoy the 6% rebate if it is a eCommerce transaction including bill payment/insurance (exclude transaction via www.pbebank.com). courtesy of layman

My family has insurance policies across the below insurance providers:
1) Allianz
2) Prudential
3) Great Eastern
4) Hong Leong Assurance

Can anyone share with me, which online payment website can I use to pay such insurance companies so that I can get the 6% cash back? I have looked into UOBpayonline and POSonline, but none of these sites offer such payees.

Thanks much for your advice.

You will be getting 6% cash rebate for payment to HLA through UOB Payonline (traditional life policy) and HLA website (traditional life and investment linked policy). HLA accepts online payment on their website since last month.
