You can also drop the BT form off at any Public Bank branch near you, no supporting statements required (that's what I did).

QUOTE(wing2010 @ Jul 16 2015, 08:58 PM) Finally got my card after 6 weeks Just to share my experience, pbb card centre insisted my card was mailed to my home address, but it never arrived. No fail delivery notice etc. At the end I asked them to mail it to the branch. The package I picked up from the branch was a replacement card (they consider the first card lost), no welcome letter, hard copy tnc etc. that you would normally get with a new card.My case: income clear pass, no debts, no loans, no credit cards, >rm100k in pb fd acc Thus expected a straightforward and hassle-free application where I can obtain my card soonest, and I was sooo wrong lol 28/05 submit application via pb branch (I applied online the day before, but had problem uploading the scanned docs, so decided to do it in person just to avoid any delays in processing) , according to cs it will take 3 weeks After that I checked application status thru IVR every other day - same answer: not in record Just to make sure, I get back to pb branch again, and they said status still processing so nothing can be done atm. Until 20/06 received SMS stating application approved, and finally status updated in IVR as well. Then impatiently waited for my card (I opted for postage, but cs insisted send card to branch will be better, so fine I gave in) 07/07 received SMS stating delivery to home address fail (??? so called hotline and ask them to mail card to branch, which they said will be done same afternoon 10/07 called pb branch in the morning to find out if my card has reached them, they say will check and call me back Received call at 4.50pm, claimed card just arrived, asked me to collect coming Monday 13/07 so finally... End of story lol I'm from east malaysia btway, so I guess for new applicants it gonna take an average of 3-4 weeks, if not for the delay in my case. So good luck to those applying, and patience patience patience Edit: Applied via branch and it took almost a month to be processed and approved. QUOTE(xbotzz @ Jul 25 2015, 10:36 AM) Just got this card yesterday.. thanks to this thread.. manage to move on after #ripM2Amex FYI, my experience is that when you do it like that, you can only check the balance/statements etc. You will not be able to make payment straight from your pbebank account. You need to go to a branch to activate that particular feature.I have activated, swiped and register for the rm68 phone (later sell back to lyn cheaper) I also manage to link my existing pbe account to my card within seconds to register pbebank.com > account > PB Card > Add Card(require PAC) to start managing pbebank.com > account > PB Card > Credit Card Summary |

QUOTE(wing2010 @ Jul 30 2015, 12:01 AM) Nope.. No verification at all. Checked via IVR regularly status changed from "in process" to "approved" in 1 week. But I actually applied in front of pb customer service with my family member beside to sign the application form. You plan to apply online? Or else you gotta just hand in an application form that is pre-filled (and signed if you can) I guess. And of course a reminder don't forget to tick option send card to home address and make sure somebody's there to collect it. Caz in my own case, no attempted delivery and when I called cs the only option left is send card to branch, and for that supp card holder must be physically present to self-collect as ic and thumbprint verification is mandatory. I managed to collect the supp card (I'm the principal) by myself from the branch and activate it on the spot too. Likewise in my case they didn't call my supp for any verification.Just to share, if you do plan to activate the supp card on behalf of that person (although we are not supposed to) please make sure you remember "mother's name" that you've entered during application. Today I paused for 1.5sec during phone verification trying to recall and busted, cs asked to talk to card holder straight |

QUOTE(karcity @ Aug 5 2015, 08:40 AM) If you are planning to use PBB's BT promo (0% for 6 mths, 0% for 12 mths for new cardmember) you might not want to reduce your credit limit. Instead just make sure you make full use of 80% of the limit. |

So strange, just swiped @ The Great Beer Bar (MCC:5813) - called the CS to ask the MCC and just for fun, asked the CS whether eligible for rebate, he replied no, cause not restaurant.
I guess they don't know their own product... |

QUOTE(??!! @ Dec 1 2015, 11:08 PM) “Qualified Retail Spending” shall include all overseas retail spending, exclude the transactions that earn Cash Back under other on-going Cash Back promotion, online purchases in foreign currency,.... Yup, I read it that way, online purchases don't count.Does this means it basically means it must be swiped physically outside of M'sia? |
