QUOTE(lexanoir @ Jun 16 2015, 11:22 AM) Hi guys, i check the web and the min annual income requirement is 100 per year. currently my income is 80k and i got 35k commission based on EA form this year. Am i eligible for the card since my monly salary sum up not exceeding the 100k ? and i dont have any credit card before. only use debit card. I do have car loan comitment on pbb also. Note: i have FD 70k in pbb. thanks I was in the same situation as you. My salary was only RM60k. But including other things, on my 2014 EA form it's RM101k annual income. Just tried my luck and applied. And I got it. I had four CC, 1 car loan and 1 housing loan before applying for this card But u mentioned your 2014 income is 60k. And this year only 80k. But latest EA form is 2014. So in that 2014 EA form less than 100k? This post has been edited by Mr Gray: Jun 17 2015, 06:19 PM

I called Public Bank to set the notification SMS amount to RM1, but was told that it was not possible. It's RM500 for retail transaction and any amount for online transaction. Has anybody been successful in changing it to lower amount?

QUOTE(Parasite85 @ Jul 15 2015, 10:01 PM) I applied for Visa Signature on 5th July through the PB online submission. When I checked through the IVR, the status was "the application has been cancelled". However, when I contacted the customer service, the officer told me that, the staff accidentally added another card type and therefore they cancelled the wrongly input card type. I have a very bad feeling that my application will be rejected due to owning to many credit cards from other banks and I suspect the scenario was the management had declined my VS application and intended to issue me the platinum card. When I applied for it two months ago. I had five other CC from Maybank, CIMB, Public Bank and Citibank. And I had several outstanding BT amounting RM400++ a month with Public Bank. One car loan with Maybank and one 500k housing loan with UOB. But Public Bank still approve my VS. I think it might also due to your debt service ratio. QUOTE(Parasite85 @ Jul 16 2015, 05:55 PM) Opps. I had a wrong impression that the total credit limit affects the credit card application success rate. I have a bad feeling that my PB VS will be rejected because I am holding too many bank cards, Maybank 2 card platinum, CIMB WMC, Hong Leong Bank VI (and Mach by HLB VS) and ambank WMC (newly approved). PB may consider I am a high risk applicant for having high credit limit with not so high income :-( What's your total limit for all cards? Mine was 59k while annual income barely exceeds the requirement.

QUOTE(Parasite85 @ Jul 21 2015, 02:15 PM) Honestly speaking, I have no idea why many ppl opt to get a higher credit limit which exposes yourself to a higher risk of credit card fraud case. Any advice? Yup for emergency cases. And sometimes I do have to go outstation, and have to buy flight tickets and hotels on my own first, before being reimbursed by the company. And high credit limit for PB card is useful for balance transfer purposes. I usually convert any expenses above 1k into 12 months and 24 months instalment. I do have the money to pay all the expenses, but I keep it in FD and unit trusts in the mean time. . Get to earn some extra money. And I set sms notification to rm1 for all my cards. So in case of fraud, I would know right away. This post has been edited by Mr Gray: Jul 22 2015, 10:13 PM

QUOTE(BumHunter @ Jul 22 2015, 10:22 PM) Agree but one thing no good for high credit limit is will affect ur loan application suscess rate Hmm, how does the bank calculate the exposure? . I've heard from friends before that they take a certain percentage from the CC limit. Is that true?
