Applied supp card for my family through branch on 13/07 and received card via post today despite selected option send card to branch. Anyways 2 weeks was surprisingly fast.. I guess for supp card application it's relatively much easier

Just wondering.. Anybody here holds visa infinite of any bank? Is it worth applying? VI doesn't seem very popular here, yet i would like to know what are the main benefits. Like how i applied PBVS solely for the purpose of cb 

i wouldn't say useless. Just different market segment has different features.

Income more than required amount.....why need to pledge fd?

Well, this happened to my Maybank Ikhwan too, cannot appeal. I can only retry again after 6 months.
After pleading non stop only told me the reason, due to high exposure.
Ironically, other banks approved me at the same time.

Babe, move on and apply MBB VS first. Later only come back to PBB VS.
Or even MBB Premier since you always travel can earn EM.

But you cannot entirely be sure that they have a good CCRIS record. You will never know that fact. Some are just sympathy post    saying that they can't get the card but actually already overloaded with debt (which is something they won't be proud to share).

Banks minimum is minimum and that is what they will follow and will even give exception if you have FD. So that minimum requirement is not always firm and can go lower on their own discretion but won't go higher.

They can reject you other grounds but definitely not the minimum income since you already pass. Getting minimum income is not guaranteed approval. Nobody ever said that but they won't reject you on the basis that your income is higher. There will be other factors. CCRIS, human error (after all there is a human in the background giving final approval). CCRIS is not just outstanding loans, it's also your payment record for the last 12 months. Some credit card companies only approve if you have 12 perfect months of payment, some more lenient on that. Some place a higher debt to income ratio when considering approval.

You might have some issue with your financial background that you may not know about since Hong Leong WISE also rejected you. So you can't just blame PBB.
