@usop8290 wow! That took a while? Is it auction unit? May I know why it took so long?

My apartment is actually an auctioned unit too. 4th floor walk up, now I'm in process to acquire funds needed to pay for the unit lol!

I did enter the unit last weekend tho, the roof has to be fixed. I'm a little worried about dealing with management, well, in for a penny in for a pound.

Also got a quotation from a contractor about reno, can anyone tell me if it's resonable?

New windows: 4 panels x3, 2 panels x1
Hacking n removing half wall
Hacking n removing bathroom tiles walls
Whole wall 1'x2' tiling bathroom
New toilet

That's all = RM8100

I think I have to deal with the roof first before proceeding with everything else. Will see if I can get other contractor out to give me a quote later..

Thanks for all feedback. Finally my reno works just started this week after all the purchase procedure is completed. it takes so long due to the slow lawyer work. mostly stuck at consent and now new rules on biometrik system at PTG Selangor. mad.gif bangwall.gif

This what i've been done in the last six months. mostly on painting and temporary carpet installation. All DIY.

The compressor located outside at the balcony area. the wiring and piping is behind the beam.

Day #1 of the renovation..
-hacking old tiles, remove old piping, window and water closet.

user posted imageuser posted image

Day #2
-installing new tiles and window. water proofing the toilet

user posted image user posted image

Day #3
-build table top, install water closet. Sadly all the piping cannot be embedded into the wall due to limited budget and to avoid structural damage of the building. so all the piping will be visible. cry.gif

I bought a flat at RM80k on 2012, spend around RM40k for all the renovation, i.e lay 2' x 2' floor tile all floor, re-do tiling at bathroom, ceiling, kitchen cabinet, tv cabinet, walk in wardrobe, study room, grille and etc.

some of friend and family always ask why I buy a flat instead of condo?
But when they come to my house they will know the answer and I like the feel when they tell me "your house doesn't look like a flat!"
