As mentioned, it depend on booking condition. Eg:

Good news! We don’t charge you a cancellation fee if cancelled before March 01, 2016.

Any cancellation received within 3 days prior to arrival date will incur the full period charge.Failure to arrive at your hotel will be treated as a No-Show and no refund will be given (Hotel policy).

How can I use shopback if I purchase items for mobile apps, eg lazada app, aliexpress app??

You should use browser... not app. That way they can track your purchases.

FYI, to date, I've managed to cash out RM 564+ from Shopback And I have another RM 90++ pending... Make sure you book hotels, buy from Groupon, Zalora, Lazada, even buy food eg Foodpanda, from Shopback.

Not sure how it's work.. If I login with mobile apps and put something in cart.. Few hr later,I open my mobile browser go to shopback, redirect to lazada shop now.. I click my cart and check out and proceed payment.. Is it success? And where to get coupon? I can't see any coupon as in video of shopback

But some of us, me included, made payment to agoda even before our staying date. Wouldn't it make more sense if shopback TNC be amended to XX days after payment is made?

Still u will get full refund if u cancel the booking, n agoda didn't earn anything from u, how they going to give Comm to Shopback?

Nobody will do loss biz.. Moreover this is free for us.. Just accept the fact..

some apps can leh. lazada app can. but dun go straight to lazada app in ur phone. use ur mobile browser to go shopback first then click on lazada app icon, it will redirect u to the lazada app

Actually how does this thing works with Lazada app?
I login with my Shopback account, then it direct me to the app.
I login app and proceed to buy my stuff.
Payment process.
Then it ended with two options :
- Continue Shopping
- Order History

Does that means it's done?
Do I need to do anything else?
Do I wait 4 days for it to reflect in my Shopback account that the transaction is successful?

Would appreciate some help from @HappyBagSB also

U have to read the tnc at Shopback probably.. Most important is not to use ur apps for 30 min before u proceed for Shopback to link to ur apps.. See below:

- To ensure successful cashback, for every item / cart orders you purchase on Lazada, please start your shopping trip on ShopBack and click through to Lazada's site to make your purchase. This means that after making a successful payment, you would have to come back to ShopBack to click through to Lazada's site again.

But, I c they remove the tnc on 30min thingy.. Anyway, normally I will c my cashback tracked within 1 day.

And it have credited the transaction I have just make.


As for this , I have read before buying and actually don't understand.
That's why I asked what to do after transaction.
As in click what after transaction?
Just browse through?

Hi everyone. I made a purchase on the Lazada mobile app today about 10 hours ago. Up till now, I still haven't received a notification or email saying that transaction has been tracked to my shopback account. Previously when I made purchases on the Lazada mobile app they would be tracked to my shopback account real fast & I'll get the notification/email within an hour or two. Should I be worried? Is this normal?

according to t&c of shopback, mobile apps missing cashback will not be entertain

no leh their customer service handled my case before. just fill up the form or call them. when i called they did explain if i didn't click thru shopback then it can't be tracked. they checked in system and confirmed i did click thru it so i got my cash back.

Hi there - I'm having a lot of problems with 3 of my orders from Tesco. Purchase made since 7 Aug, notified to customer service (cause the google form submission never works - tried 3 times from 3 different machines), that confirmed me to get tracked soon, but after that peroid, still missing.

It is strange that lazada and agoda tracks seem fine, but with the Tesco tracking time increased to 30 days, I'm not so sure I can be confident were gonna get the claimed CB esp during the 2 day promo at 9%. Hope you can look into this part - reason given was waiting for merchant confirmation of transaction, but my credit card payment was posted within 3 days of delivery - so it should be a non-issue when it comes to payment.

I'm giving the assumption Shopback will be able to backtrack and eventually clear out records - otherwise its better for me just to go in person and use my grocery CB card for the same discount.

I try using Shopback apps to link to agoda last month, also I didn't get the cashback track..

Also need to wait for merchant confirmation.. As per Shopback CS, need to wait 90 days.. My hotel stay was over more than 2 weeks.. But yet, my cashback status still investigating after 1 month of my booking date.. So disappointed.. I guess I won't use their app anymore.. As I use desktop didn't give me problem at all..
