Is Edifier R1855DB good for TV in my living room? Mostly to watch TV series in streaming platform.
Budget around 600.

If you're coming from nothing and just using a tv speaker, yes of course.
Bonus if you could include speaker stands as well to properly adjust the speakers to height.

Yeah, my only concern is some reviews saying it's a near field speakers while I will be sitting 2 meters plus away from it. But yeah, seems pretty decent, just need to it to be restocked lol.

Not wrong la they're made for near-field usage since they're primarily made for that.
But Edifier's modern speakers are mostly catered to "fill rooms/cafes" with the wireless Bluetooth function, it's gotta be able to throw audio well.
Unless your living room is crazy rich large, should be plenty.

FYI, R1855DB doesn't has sub out, only Edifier R1280Dbs or R1700BTs come with sub out.

I am thinking of replacing my old Edifier M1380 with something similar but I am not very sure on which speakers nowadays that are similar or better. Any recommendations? Budget would probably under RM300.
