any rekomendations within klang valley for good thai food ? mieng kam or however u spell it, has been my fav. u know the leaf u wrap with the sos and udang kering and ginger bits and lime bits.

so far tried e-san at ara damansara. quite pricey but i feel is decent thai food.

there is one thai food restaurant somewhere near Malaysian Institute of Art.

very nice food, and reasonable price.

forgotten the shop name, but its just a few shops away from a mamak restaurant.

That depends if you need to have your thai food halal or not.

For non halal there's Go Thai, Surisit Thai Kopitiam, My Elephant, and I'm Spicy (Farm Thai/Lai Thai has recently fell out of screen due to too many complaints)

They also have a branch at Taman Paramount now, though service was lacking a bit when it first started, I guess they could have fixed that by now.

TTDI seemed to be better still, then again when I went Tmn Paramount branch was very new, usually a restaurant will take a few months to sort itself out.

tht's why now i on the hunt for good thai restoran . no need authentic until follow exact la, but at least the taste must be there. dun kiamsiap lemongrass and all those can liao.

I was at Rama V (somewhere in Jalan U-Thant, KL) yesterday and it's pretty fantastic. The menu is not like those regular Malaysianinzed Thai stuff. You can google up some blogs to tengok-tengok.

Btw, this place supposedly got dress code. Need to wear long pants and shoes. But I guess yesterday ada exemption because of Father's Day. I tengok the table beside me pakai seluar pendek only.

Rama V is one of the more "high class" places I guess, they have a sister restaurant at Paradigm by the name of Fa Ying, a bit modern fusion-ish sort of Thai food, not half bad actually.
