7Creation.com graphic design competition has successfully converted itself into a graphic design community fully developed from sketch again after its first competition with success.

7Creation.com is the first Malaysian graphic design competition online that commenced from 01-Apr-2006 and has successfully completed its 3 months season with a satisfactory result on the National Day of Malaysia, 31-Aug-2006.

The Gold championship goes to the artwork of ‘Under Skin Simulation’ of Roberta Cupo from Italy. The silver championship goes to ‘Brand Ad’ of Pratik Bagaria from India and the bronze championship goes to ‘Collapsible Climbing Helmet’ of Kelvin Langan from Scotland.

“The competition is indeed a great success. We have participants and winners from all around the globe. We hope to host more of such competition in the future. Nonetheless, it is equally important to maintain the traffic of the site with potential participants and designers during the interim, “said Gary Wong, the founder of 7Creation.com

7Creation will continue to develop more useful and functional features to support the growth of the designer community. This is to continue the pleasure for the designers and visitors. Designers are encouraged to look out for the fully self-developed features such as the forum where designers could easily post their resume or portfolio in seek for potential employers or contractual design projects.

In addition, there is a new 7Creation graphic design gallery purposefully designed to encourage designers of all professional level and fields to showcase their healthy artworks. Members can vote and comment on the displayed artworks they like. This will directly and indirectly encourage more graphic uploads and therefore a brand culture of the art.

”We believe healthy graphics and art form a great and positive part of our lives. We need to explore its fullest potential and creativity in order to live our lives a step nearer to its fullness. Beside, imaging is a form of expression of oneself. There is no right or wrong in it, except a different perspective of self expression of an individual.”

7Creation believes that designers should show their talents and express their creativities with everyone. It is basically a showcase for everyone. No offence to thread starter. Just curious, why all post just mention about your competition and site.

Maybe if you want to promote, just put your site link at your signature. Its better.

Ya, visited your portfolio page. Would like to especially promote some of your graphics here. Cant stop a good works from being publicly acknowledged. Personally, i think you are extremely good with graphic and character / avatar design, especially STRANGE GUY (my favourite).
