I have questions for those who have experience in this.
I don't have time to do the grunt work, so my husband will be the one going to open the accounts for our 2 kids. He will deposit 6k for each kid and we want max out the 6k tax relief for both of us.
Question is, for me to submit for tax relief, do I need to be there to open the account? I'm not sure the account holder is kid's name or parent's name.
You need to do your name for one of your kids and your hubby name for the second one.I don't have time to do the grunt work, so my husband will be the one going to open the accounts for our 2 kids. He will deposit 6k for each kid and we want max out the 6k tax relief for both of us.

Your name will be the "depositor" (pendeposit) and your kids name is the "beneficiary" (penerima manfaat).
That will allow tax rebate under your name as the depositor.
If your hubby put your name and both of your kids under your name, only one name is available for tax relief.
Once you have an account, you can use the online web statement site: (no https lol)
