Hi All,
I was just wondering if anyone still managed to pay via 'credit card'?
Read this forum and noticed that "Kad Kredit" is no longer part mentioned in the website.

Kemudahan penambahan simpanan SSPN-i boleh dibuat melalui saluran berikut :

Kaunter PTPTN (Tunai, Kad Debit / Kad ATM ).

Based on your post, I called up PTPTN branch at my local vicinity and inquired. The officer on duty told me SSPN-i "penambahan deposit" cannot use credit card, only debit card.

However for "Bayaran balik pinjaman" the payor can use credit-card payment.

I think you may have confused "bayaran balik pinjaman" with "penambahan deposit".

Well, that's what the reply I received that day upon enquiries at the counter, trust or not is up to you.
Anyway, can or cannot also not affecting me since mine is SSPN account, sure can't use credit card deposit anymore.

Sorry:
> It's messy, semi-rushed it because occupied with work
> My BM is very rusty (rarely use it) so I did the best I can
> I have further questions, I have to leave, will ask when I return

So meanwhile hope this helps

I have one question here.
I'm single and can I open account for my parent in order to enjoy the takaful benefit(36critical illness,Accident,Nature Death) once anything(touch wood) happen to my parent?
Was attracted to the takaful benefit(for parent) since I don't have child to entitle me for tax exemption.
Thanks

Hi guys. Is it a good idea to invest in SSPN/SSPN-i (not interested in the Plus) for the long run to get the maximum RM6,000 tax relief every year (e.g. put RM500 every month)? I'm not intending to use the money in SSPN-i in the short run as I already have an emergency fund to cover any emergencies.

Is there a drawback I'm not seeing?
