QUOTE(gsc @ Jun 17 2015, 01:11 AM) I think we can ask the bank what is the policy of fresh fund definition. I went to a bank and the front counter staff said need fresh fund for promo FD rate. I told him why dont you check with your superior sitting at the back. His boss said okay, the money in my saving account can be considered as fresh fund. In your case, did you withdraw cash from the saving account and open the FD or did the bank made transfer from your saving and open the FD? |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jun 25 2015, 08:36 PM) seems like a promo rate until 31 December 2015. read here There's a yearly withdrawal limit of RM25k implies that this is not for short term investment.furthermore, you only need to deposit RM50 each month to "activate" the 4.00% p.a. rate, unlike traditional smartsavers which need RM1k to activate 3.05% p.a. rate |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jun 25 2015, 09:59 PM) note: This account has a maximum withdrawal limit of RM25k per calendar year and no limit on deposits. Please visit any OCBC branch to remove this withdrawal restriction (to have unlimited transaction limit). Does it mean we can remove the withdrawal over the counter any time this year? |

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Jul 3 2015, 05:09 PM) The Affin's Promo not mentioned by me does not mean it is no longer being offered. Most of the time I only mention straight forward FD promos up to 12 months unless the offer is super fantastic. You will also note I don't promote MBSB promos. I also don't promote Affin's FD most of the time too... you go read the terms and conditions again and double check when the interest is paid, i.e. semi-annually for at maturity. Where can I get Affin FD T&C? |

UOB Damansara Uptown informed me via SM that FD rates up to 4.25% p.a. with min deposit of RM100K fresh fund. Promo ends 30 Sept 2015.
