Before anyone rushes out and gets the wireless Xbox One controller, remember that it doesn't work with wireless yet. The wireless accessory is not out yet.

I'm using the XBone controller, works great on Windows 7/10 though on Windows 10 it keeps installing the wrong drivers. Need to select it manually from the management console.

The XBone wireless controller can be used with a micro USB cable as well. I am using it now on Win10. Works on Windows 7 too.

It is only the wireless capability that is not available at the moment. Microsoft will release the wireless receiver for the XBox One controller at the end of the year i think. The wireless receiver will only work with Windows 10.

The controller I am using now is the Xbox One Covert Forces Wireless Controller. It is modeled under the NEW Xbox One controller that comes with a headphone/microphone jack. The jack doesn't work with Windows though. Only on XBone.

Using an 860M if that makes a difference. Also if your screen doesn't support 1080p you have to select a lower resolution from the game settings.
