in b4 EA ruins it with shit.

To be honest, after a whole slew of disappointment, I aint putting any hope in any new EA games. Despite how awesome BF4 looks like.

It's was an EA game in the first place, it's a game that commercially was not too successful and if we're honest with ourselves lucky to get. It's entirely their IP to ruin.

The only way they could ruin the game was if they gave in to the COD crowd who didn't understand why the gunplay sucked and that the best way to play the game was as a time attack/parkour simulator.

In regards to micro transactions, ME1 was all about the players skill and to a large extent muscle memory - very hard to implement "pay to win" - and i certainly hope they don't introduce things like levelling perks like just about every other first person shooter these days.

It is gonna be very likely that they will made it to appeal CoD fans or whatever mythical audience they are aiming for. Considering how they had ruined most of their franchise, I wont see why I wont happen.

They can turn a survival horror to another damn action game.Or a beautifully paced and well designed multiplayer warfare game to a CoD clone with 64 players. Or turn a RPG series that brings back the feel of older CRPG to a piece of crap. Or that ridiculous multi coloured explosions while they promised that you'll see your decisions from previous 2 games affect your ending. Real Racing to a very annoying to play free to play crap. PvZ becomes a damn free to play too. Medal of Honor as a CoD clone, to the point even the consultants who are real life soldiers of the game actually left the team. Sim City, what the hell was that bug ridden always online crap to even begin with? Turning a cartoony, intriguing looking Overstrike to a dull, grey and brown game called Fuse. And the list goes on and on. What makes you think that they wont ruin Mirrors Edge in similar fashion to the ground or turn it to an action game with some parlour in a death match setting?

The problem is all EA cares are profits, not making intriguing games while making money with some goodwill.

EA have had their fair share of stinkers no doubt but I've also enjoyed some of the games that you mentioned above. If they ruin a franchise then don't buy into it, it's as simple as that. I enjoyed Dead Space 1 and 2, heard about DS3's co-op and I got off the train there. I'm sorry that Mass Effect 3 sucked for you but at the same time I enjoyed the game so much that i bought the game on both console and pc. Just vote with your wallet, is what I say.

All game developers care about profit. Mirror's Edge was always a gamble for them which never really paid off. I'm just happy they're willing to give it another chance - that's goodwill there already. At the same time, why let developer rage cloud your expectations over the game? For me Mirror's Edge 2 is a gift - and I'm looking forward to the coverage. If they introduce COD perks or some weird co-op crap then i won't get it. Simple as that - they have to make me want to buy ME2 and it's not like there's a shortage of games to play that I need to rely on ME2 as the last hope.

I'm also glad they've not made faith more Moe.
