» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z09...._u=42ldi4h17934 my house using water pump, so its quite strong already; just using water only thru a water gun to control spray you can also use alkaline like the pro's to dissolve the grime beforehand some water will drip out from the aircon, but not much, mostly into the bucket; so best to put towels on the floor to mop them up |

QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Nov 30 2019, 01:04 PM) GK Electrical Co., Ltd. thanks, a bit far for me in ampang; i'll look around hereNo. 29 & 29A, Jalan TK 1/11a, Taman Kinrara, 47180 Puchong, Selangor 016-250 0020 https://maps.app.goo.gl/SRMQbcPejjirvv2b7 Haier also has a new R32 premium model HSU-12VFD. I was looking for this model initially because of 5-star energy rating, 10 yrs + 3 yrs warranty but unfortunately, GK didn't carry it, also I can't find any dealer listing it in Lzd and Shopee other than official Haier mall priced at RRP1.8k. Haier official showroom at Setiawalk quoted me around RM1.6k+/_ without installation. End up, I settled for Midea's latest R32 Forest series at much lower price. |

QUOTE(MeToo @ Jul 3 2020, 11:56 AM) confirm not compressor.. i saw the board, he changed capacitor... the last time i swppaed capacitor on a PCB.. was 25 yrs ago in school... sp no choice MCO kena chop... i'm going for cheap units now like haier; those 'premium' features are just glorified ionizersSpeaking of which... i'm currently in the market for 6~7 unit of aircon. But noticed Panasonic top model range the price HUGE premium over the lower range, we are talking nearly double... which is crazy.. anyone feel paying for such premium makes sense?! |

QUOTE(imbibug @ Aug 19 2020, 09:55 AM) Is RM175 a reasonable price to diagnose problem and change capacitor? Its for a 1hp split unit where the compressor is outside upstairs but it didn't take long for the repair guy to fix, seemed experienced at balancing himself on the roof. that capacitor cost about RM12 Also how much does it normally cost to clean/service airconds? ![]() |
