Wanna know from an hvac engineer.
Because what we simply read from the internet doesn't necessarily mean the truth.

If vacuum evacuation is a must then it's weird that i've never seen its done before.

Most customer not willing to pay more for extra procedures.

Common reply for 1hp as below:

RM200 - "can cheaper a bit or not, I buy 2 units leh"

RM250 - "your installation price is expensive than the other shop"

Rm280 - "1hp or 1.5hp charge?"

It is not common to see customer willing to pay higher for extra jobs.

Hi,

Is the Panasonic Nana_G better than Sharp Plasmacluster
Thank you
*
fancy feature on the aircond is purely marketing purpose.

if looking forward to having a better air quality result, invest an air purifier or air sterilizer.

an aircond is still an aircond, the main function is exchange the hot air into cold air.

No Sharp brand but I find Jintexelectronics to have one of the lowest prices for air-cond. The basic 1HP air-cond is selling at RM8xx only. Some top brands available are Panasonic, Hitachi and few more. I'm getting 4 units of air-conds from them soon.
*
Hitachi basic Rm799. Most competitive Japan brand I think. Longer warranty as well.

Thanks for the info. Jintexelectronics is selling the Hitachi 1Hp basic at RM828 and Panasonic 1Hp basic at RM838. They have this interesting deal of giving additional RM25 discount for their water heaters and fans which are already priced rather low, so with the combined discounts if buying air-cond, water heater and fans, the price is among the lowest.

Good to hear Hitachi is a good brand. The Panasonic and Hitachi are very close in pricing, just RM10 difference between the two and I'm just giving this Hitachi a go. Perhaps getting the Panasonic for the living room and the Hitachi for all bedrooms.
*
their price aircond is about RM30 higher than market price. are you sure the heater and fan is the lowest price in market?

I'm not aware the price is RM30 more than market price as after comparison with few shops their price is the lowest. As for the heater and fan, Jintexelectronic's prices are at least RM20+ lower when compared to Tan Boon Ming, Sen Heng and few more stores. So, even if the price of their air-cond is RM30 higher than the lowest market price, from the offset of the additional discounts obtained from the water heater and fan, the air-cond would be cheaper by RM50 which may have offset the RM30 higher price of the air-cond.

Thinking of getting this 1.5hp Mitsubishi at RM1168 http://www.jintexelectronics.com/index.php...roducts_id=1837

The rest of the 1hp would likely be the Hitachi model.

Please share what heater and fans brand you are choosing

Well, overall the prices are standard. You pay extra and rebate later like Harvey Norman method.

Places where you can see and touch, the price generally higher. If a place you can't touch and see, only can obtain low price, the target group is different.

if quality, daikin is the best. Japanese Brand = Quality Assurance

Daikin = Toyota/Honda
Acson = Proton
Hisense= Haval/Cherry

you sure know which one to choose? remember good stuff not cheap, cheap stuff no good lor..
*
daikin local spec or daikin Thailand spec or daikin japan spec.

daikin spec confuses people, people only buy because the brand is heavily advertised.

why no one ask for YORK now.

Price so so also... My only concern is spare parts/after sales support

The production is made in bangi, the parts are ready in bangi. Do you live in East Malaysia where you are concerned on the parts and sales support?

There is no partition between living hall, dining area and dry kitchen. Only one aircon piping install at living hall. Thus, my choice is only 1 aircon for the whole area. Just the matter of whether getting 2hp inverter or a 2.5hp non inverter now. Ceiling height is around 9ft. What would u choose if you are me.

The aircond position is pointing at TV side or dry kitchen side.
