my 5 yr old panasonic inverter 2HP cs-s18nkh (bedroom 10-hr daily use) no longer cooling everytime after 1hr running. The compressor shutsdown even though the indoor unit still running.

authorized panasonic technician already troubleshoot; replaced sensor and pcb (based on error code).. still same problem. So next suspected the outdoor unit (pcb or compressor), but did not proceed with repair because above RM500 cost. Have to say parts are readily available, but didnt expect such costly repair before 10yrs

Plan to get daikin as replacement. Disappointed with panasonic, expected it to last longer than 5yrs (ngam2 compressor warranty period). I still have 2 units Panasonic non-inverters (in living room, seldom use), but no more Panasonic for me
