less than rm60 for the past two month..

using it from 10pm to 6.30am everyday..

i'm not too sure the actual consumption but i think is around 3 to 4kwh a day..

inclusive of other appliances usage the average would be 7kwh a day..
*
RM60 is the extra or total bill?

Yup. Total bill. Not exceeding RM60.
*
So means 1.5 HP not really consume a lot of power... thumbup.gif

My 1HP inverter average use about RM10~20. Total bill less than RM40, sometimes 30.

Yalor. My Panasonic Inverter board out... after serve me almost 10 years.

Board expensive is 1 thing, not even got part for the old model... doh.gif

End up buy new non-inverter aircon. R32 Daikin. A bit not used to it, as when blow is too cold... at night... rclxub.gif

Sorry... that installed at my hometown... not always back, therefore hard to tell. That's also the reason didn't choose back Inverter.

Got any Sharp AHXP13VXD user here? Can give some review. Seems this model is the most jimat compare to others. Thanks.
*
Should be due to 'Eco mode' to cut down the power. If you no need very cool or cool immediately it does help.

I'm using the old model, and is quite save, but of course the way i use not very cool just nice for me.

Can install another aircon at the circle area? Will it cause compressor damage faster?

Not a good idea, the hot air blow by the inner compressor will take by the new aircon.
End up need extra effort for compressor to cool down & waste more energy.

Hi guys,

I'm torn between hisense 1hp inverter ai10kag and sharp jtech inverter
Both prices almost the same.
Hisense have 3 years warranty, while sharp save more electricity (780kWh vs 962kWh on hisense)

So in term of reliability, what do u guys suggest ?
*
My Sharp inverter have additional Power Saving function, which can save even more, of course the cooling power will drop if turn on.

How long have u used the aircon? Is yours the one with jtech inverter?
*
My is quite long already i think more than 6 years. During that time Jtech not launch yet laugh.gif

You can online check the spec & function before you make the decision.

My model, i just don't like the off-timer, as the sleep function is build in, so when use timer off, the temperature will keep increase.

Right after, they have split out the function on next model. So shouldn't be have such issue anymore.

Reduced airflow.

Will it have any impact on blower? I been using it for few years. Nice and clean coil inside.

Recently after i clean with water, maybe not enough time to dry up, then I close the cover back.

After that turn on the aircon have some smell, and notice some white powder on the coil after few weeks. Not sure is mold or not?

I have clean it up and remove the extra filter to monitor.

That's why i wonder should I still continue apply the extra filter.

That Daiso filter is crazy good, after 3 months usage my inside filter is still clean and the fans are in clean state. Usually within 3 months, my filters all clogged up and the blower starts to accumulate. About 6 months then I need to clean the blower already else no wind.
*
Yes, i almost no need to clean the coil inside as always clean. I only vacuum that extra filter. Well, maybe i keep using too long, time to replace.

Btw, you add on the filter itself or cover up the whole air intake on the unit?

Need some expert advice.

May I know what is those white spot? It looks like ice for me, but I turn off my aircon before morning, and I check evening still can see this. If is ice it should be melt after some times.

I wonder is my additional filter cause the air flow problem. I will remove it and monitor.

Use a toothpick to remove to see or feel what is it ?

Most likely is your additional white polyester type filter disintegrating.
*
It feel like powder, but when press it just wet with sand feel. I use toothbrush to clean it all.

I have remove the additional filter yesterday, today looks fine. Will keep monitor.

I've been using extra filter about 7 years since install.

Possible the blower getting old? or the power not enough? My unit have extra 'Power saving' function which I can step down the power. I always use the lowest to save electricity.

Is the ceiling board comes with abestos sheet ? Possible of disintegration.

My second layer carbon filter is covered with whitish powder in one of the room....also abestos ceiling board.
*
hmm.gif shouldn't be. As if is from ceiling board, when I remove the extra filter, it should be more white powder spot on the coil.

Oh ya, my white spot is mainly at bottom part only. Not much, but worry as a bit abnormal.

You also use 2 filter? Use for how long already? All good?

Thanks, looks familiar, is it Sharp? biggrin.gif

QUOTE(slimey @ Jun 3 2021, 10:31 AM)
just some deposit which consist of mineral, biofilm(bacteria, fungus) etc etc.

those are no big deal and can be left alone. it doesnt impede airflow or damage the fin.
*
Ya, I think 'deposit' is the correct word. Thanks notworthy.gif

I just worry is ice build up or gas leaking.

While remove the extra filter, I feel my aircon cooler yesterday. biggrin.gif

Just for sure will have more dust on fin.

Pana.

You notice the white powder like on the filter. Similar to yours.
*
Now Panasonic filter also like this. My old model is more tiny.
This looks similar to my Sharp filter.

Yours not obvious. My is at bottom of fin. So it always wet. My extra filter is put on top of the unit. Easy for me to clean just vaccum on it will do.

Aircond has so many tiers nowadays.

Nowadays have normal inverter, deluxe inverter and then premium inverter. Pricing can vary quite a lot too. If you buy from shop, a 1HP premium inverter could even exceed 2.5k with installation. Check what you are buying with price from Lazada/Shopee and then plus installation fees around 250-300 to make sure you are paying just a bit more and not being slaughtered.

Daikin has the most confusing lineup to be honest. FTKF, FTKU, FTKH, FTKM and so on. Some of their premium inverter is even 4 stars only if Im not mistaken.

I bought a Samsung 1.0hp premium inverter few months ago on Lazada and just received my LG 1.0hp premium inverter. Samsung and LG premium inverter are all rated 5 stars.
*
ya, nowadays inverter also have different model. Not sure is the same with different features only or the inverter technology itself also different. I do notice the lowest model of inverter is 4 star only, compare to higher model which is 5 star.

Panasonic also same, start with PU, XPU, XU. Price wise quite close to Daikin. I'm still considering PU or XPU. hmm.gif

I have no internet at home, so no need the wifi feature.
