looking on panasonic 2.0 below, looks like the XKH have higher BTU number, other than that, any difference?

CS-PN18WKH-1 (2.0HP)
CS-PN18XKH-1 (2.0HP)

Plan to get 3 unit CS-XPU10XKH-1 (1.0HP) for 3 small room and one 2.0hp non inverter as above for living + dining (condo), is this a good choice? seem they have a good review in this thread.

btw, hearsay daikin can be cheaper, is daikin good compared to Panasonic? if so, any recommandation?

Noticed that my house come with the electric power point for aircon, the socket without any switch, just wiring, so my question, if i install aircon and connect power to the power point directly, which mean the aircon will always get power supply because no switch on the power socket, will this consume more electricity? what if the aircon not always on, maybe 1 or 2 times in a week.

Another question on installing aircon, i saw shopee advertise RM20 per ft on piping, does this include drilling?

There should be a wall switch to turn on/off.

Depending in user, you can also ask the electrician to fix a socket on the wall so that you can disconnect the plug for full safety purpose.

If you have set certain control like a timer, then the switch must be left on, otherwise everything will be erased when there is no power. The usage of electricity will be minimal. Other than that, you can turn off if is seldom use.

All new installation price comes with 15 ft piping. If is more, then is chargeable depending on installer. So it up to your nego skill if is just another 1 to 2 ft extra and some can give foc if is just the leftover balance.

What about charges for drilling a hole to let the copper piping pass through? What the markets rate?

Compare the IDU ODU weight and their btu ratings.
*
CS-PN18XKH-1
18,200 Btu/h
Outdoor
35 kg (77 lb)

CS-PN18WKH-1
17,600
Outdoor kg (lb) 36 (79)

For BTU, XKH is higher, but why weight also matter? mind to share more?

XKH BTU higher than WKH by 6000, not sure what the real feeling when using, the problem is XKH no stock everywhere now.

Am also consider daikin FTV50PBV1MF which have 18000 BTU and ODU weight 40 KG. But if possible i want all same brand under pana since i already ordered 3 pana x-premium ....

I have decide to choose Panasonic aircond but problem is I heard the ac is always out of stock

as a backup I plan to buy Daikin FTKU series

https://www.daikin.com.my/daikin_products/ftku-series/

is it ok on this model?

The aircond installer said to me  that all panasonic model aircond for outdoor always noisy, so he ask me to choose Daikin

iAUTO-X should be the "powerful" mode where the aircond redline to get you fast to the desired temperature... I think can last for 2 hours the most then revert back to normal.

Searching for a/c, it seems Daikin (FTKU) and Pana (CS-XU) are harder to get.
Mind to share the shop and price. Thanks

i bought them 2 months ago, and those were last 3 unit, the shop was kind enough to keep the stock for me as i want to utilise my shopess vouchers, they also help me to do the save 2.0 for rm200 off
