Walk around HomeDec today and hunting for aircond. Comparing Daikin, Panasonic and LG (all 1.0HP inverter models), which brand will b the most reliable and low power consumption?

The reason why I'm looking for non-inverter was because the shop/installer told me that I only use my air-cond in the bedroom for sleeping and not on 24x7 therefore no need inverter. Moreover inverter maintenance cost is higher if it breaks down and easily strike by lightning.

Hope sifus here can give me some advice. Sorry for asking such noob question as I really know nothing about air-cond.
