Hi all, I will be getting my new house very soon. New house already came with aircons provided by developer (Panasonic brand). I come across multi split air conditioners from Daikin and Panasonic so wanted to get some advice which brand is good for this type of multi split air conditioners in term of price, durability and future maintenance. Note: I'm also looking for slim ducted to be install in my living room to replace the wall mounted air cond. Hope to get some good advice for this. Thank you This post has been edited by bengyson: Feb 1 2023, 11:53 AM

QUOTE(lwk523 @ Feb 19 2023, 12:54 PM) Hi Bro, Have you get it already ? I also plan to get this type and might go for Daikin. Anyone have these experiences ? Thank you I didn't get the respond from any expert here so far. Anyway I will be engaging an Aircond specialist from Panasonic and Daikin to give me their quote and advise.

Hi, looking to buy 3HP Aircond to cover my dining, living and dry kitchen area for my landed property. Preferably cassette type. What brand do you recommend? Inverter or non-inverter?
Usage pattern: turn on average 5-6 hours/day

QUOTE(GamersFamilia @ Mar 15 2024, 08:53 PM) inverter , daikin or mitsubishi Was told by aircond seller if continuous turn on for more than 9 hours then only consider for inverter else non inverter is good enough. Any advise?

QUOTE(stormer.lyn @ Mar 15 2024, 10:55 PM) If the area is very large you are better off using 2 smaller units as the spread from 2 units is better than one large unit. Just something to consider The space need to be cooling is about 600sft open concept including staircase area. I would prefer single aircond instead of many units for aesthetic reason.

QUOTE(Jason @ Jun 26 2024, 10:53 AM) No experience with standard range Midea. My Midea 1.0hp top of the line inverter from 6 years ago the compressor noise is acceptable. But out of 3 units 1 failed already, 3 different aircon guy also can't fix it and problems keep getting worse. I replaced it with a Haier inverter because of the Save 4.0... was the cheapest inverter I could find last August. Entry range Haier looks and feels more cheaply made versus entry level Hisense, and the blower not as strong. But I would avoid Midea due to my own experience. Between the 2 models.. I would go with Hisense Hisense vs Midea 9500btu vs 9300btu temp sensor on AC & remote vs AC only airflow 600 m3 vs 593 m3 outdoor noise 51 dBa vs 51 dBa Warranty both 5+2 Thanks Jason. From the website Hisense specs is more promising and price wise much cheaper than Midea 850 vs 930. I bought Hisense 2.0hp non-inverter more than 5 yrs ago still work like champ.

Anyone can comment about this AUX brand from China? Most of the aircond dealer giving good reviews for this brand. 1.0HP, 10k btu and Inverter priced at rm860 really attractive pricing. Just the outlook Abit boxy to me other than that all seems to be ok. https://www.auxair.com/my/en/products/ca.html
